The Soviet version of Huang Jiguang, the Heroic Soviet Hero Matlosov who heroically blocked the gun hole

• Early life: Born in a small village in 1924, Matlosov lost his parents at an early age and was raised in the Ivanov Nursery School and the Ufa Children's Labor Institute in the Ulyanovsk Oblast, where he worked as an assistant correctional institution as an adult. It was not until June 22, 1941, when Germany tore up the Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact and the Great Patriotic War began, which completely changed Matrosov's life.

• Enlistment: Matrosov joined the Lenin Communist Youth League of the USSR in 1942 and joined the Red Army in the same year. From October 1942 he was a cadet of the Red Holm Infantry School. In November 1942, he went to the front and took part in the german operations in the 56th Guards Infantry Division. Matrosov served in the Kalinin Front, which fought the Battle of Velikiye Luki from 4 November 1942 to 20 January 1943, with the aim of crushing the German Army Group Center Velikiye Luki and liberating the transportation hub Velikiye Luki. The mission of Matrosov's unit was to capture the village of Chernoshki.

Sacrifice: During the battle to capture the village of Chernoshki, the heavy machine-gun fire from the German civil firing point forced the detachment fighters to lie down on the ground, desperately needing to eliminate the support point at all costs. At this time, Matlosov slowly approached the German bunker and felt for two grenades, after throwing two grenades, the German bunker was instantly muted, but when everyone breathed a sigh of relief, the tongue of fire of the German machine gun sprayed again. Matrosov understood that if the squad had been suppressed, it was likely to suffer huge losses, so Matrosov heroically pounced on the civil launch site, blocked the launch hole with his body, and sacrificed heroically, only 19 years old.
