Description of Schlyter / Gezelius Arkitektkontor

Background, low impact, no waste: For the past 25 years, I've been studying how the use of computers and software affects the architectural and physical landscape.

First, I'm ecstatic about these possibilities. While this is still true, there are other, more worrying implications. Today's waste of indoor and outdoor space, disrespect for natural landscapes, the global use of non-renewable materials, and how all of this relates to our digital tools in a variety of ways.

In "Low Impact No Waste", I try to solve this problem. The house was built by a local contractor and a local carpentry shop has milled all the building parts. Every part of the building was specifically designed for this project to avoid wasting materials. I used different kinds of wood from sustainable forest woodlands.
