The Chinese team won the championship with a score of 44 points over the second place. South Korea and the United States finished second and third with 208 and 207 points respectively, while the fourth and fifth places were won by Vietnam and Romania with 196 and 194 points respectively.
The countries ranked 6th to 10th are Thailand (193 points), Germany (192 points), Iran (191 points), Japan (191 points) and Israel (188 points).
It is worth noting that the 6 members of the Chinese team have full scores - this is the first time that the Chinese team has achieved full scores for 6 members of the whole team, and it is also the second time in the history of IMO.
