In the 1984 NBA Draft, he was selected by the Chicago Bulls as Tanhua, and won 6 NBA championships (two consecutive triple crowns), 10 scoring kings, 3 steals kings, 14 All-Stars, 10 all-team selections, and 2 Olympic gold medals. After officially retiring, he bought the Charlotte Bobcats (now known as the Charlotte Hornets) and became the team operator.
