When you think of the Maldives, you usually think of the white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and luxurious floating houses on uninhabited islands, and the beautiful women in the sun have various concave shapes. Yes, this was all my imagination of The Maday before I went, but in addition to that, the Madai also has a very primitive and simple side, especially the inhabited islands. This time we went to "Gan Island" is a residential island, although not as tall as the uninhabited island resort, but the advantage is to be able to explore the life of the locals in Madai, which is what I am more interested in, otherwise the beaches of Malaysia and the Philippines are also very beautiful, and there is no need to fly here to see the sea.
The Maldives is an archipelagic country in the Indian Ocean, consisting of 1192 islands, the vast majority of which are uninhabited, with only about 200 inhabited. Excluding the sea, the Maldives has an area of only 298 square kilometers, making it the smallest country in Asia with a population of more than 300,000. Located on Adou Atoll, the southernmost part of the Maldives, Gan Isle is the second largest island in The Madai, and due to its important geographical location, it was a British naval and air base during World War II, so it is not difficult to understand why Gan Island has an international airport.
Usually flying I don't like to lean by the window the most, every time I ask to lean on the aisle, but going to the Maldives is different, when checking in, you must choose a seat by the window.
From the aircraft, you can overlook the beautiful coral island of Maddah
This is a view of "Addu Atoll" from the air
These islands are like pieces of emerald in the Indian Ocean, especially beautiful!

We took off from Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka and arrived at Gan International Airport approximately 1.5 hours later. There are only two international airports in Maddah, one in the capital, Malé, and one on The Island of Gan.
Gan Airport is very small, with only two international flights per day.
After all the guests on board are out of customs, the staff can finish their work and go home
The runway is right by the sea and you can see a beautiful view of the sea as soon as you leave the airport.
The coast is lined with coconut trees with golden coconut fruits hanging from them.
Most of the islands in the Maldives are coral islands, and the waters take on different shades of color.
This time, the "Gan Island Equator Resort" where we stayed is right next to the airport, a five-minute drive away, and we will stay here for three days and two nights. What is the difference between Gan Island and the imaginary Maldives, the next part continues to write.
