"I've always had the urge to create and explore new processes and materials, I've fallen completely in love with clay, it's my way of telling beautiful stories, and I love to shape my own form of language by creating textures."

Knudsen is inspired by architecture, art and fashion. Her incorporation of French elegance, classic Italian and Scandinavian nature into her work gives Knudsen endless possibilities to deal with surface textures, structures and shadows. She excels at combining the contrast between soft organic shapes and hard materials, appearing both masculine and feminine in its porous and sturdy form.

Knudsen's work maintains the original nature of nature, the stoneware will naturally burn into warm shades of cream, sand and brown, and only coarse-grained fire sand is added to form a textured surface, which also forms a deep beauty unique to the work!
