Kaesong is the former capital of Korea and the seat of the Goryeo Dynasty, and it is said that the royal families of the royal palace in the ancient times were more popular to eat copper bowl rice. And our group of tourists, the first meal in Kaesong was copper bowl rice. The so-called copper bowl rice is actually a meal made of copper bowls to hold the meal. Walking into the Korean restaurant in Kaesong, when the tourists are seated, the waiters begin to serve, only to see them arrange the meals in copper bowls in a triangle and place them in front of each tourist.
And in front of each tourist, there are 9 different bowls of different dishes, in total, there are 9981 dishes. However, North Korean cuisine has a special feature, that is, the portion size is small, don't look at the nine bowls of dishes placed in front of each tourist, it is only almost full. Sprouts, eggs and kimchi are all sparse and ordinary ingredients, and it is difficult for some tourists to think of the delicacies that only royalty can enjoy. When the tourists began to enjoy the copper bowl rice on the table, the tour guide saw the disdain on the faces of some tourists, and she said that tourists could order food at their own expense. Then a tourist at the neighboring table ordered a Korean ginseng stewed chicken, which cost 260 oceans, similar to the consumption of domestic restaurants.
During the 2 days of kaesong tourism, our group meals are mainly copper bowl rice, and only at breakfast, it is open to tourists in the form of buffet service.
