The sirimahannop tall ship launched, a replica of the last three-masted sailing vessel officially used by the Royal Thai Navy, also known as a historical vessel that brought prosperity to the Kingdom of Thailand from the Western world, will anchor at the Asiatique Riverside Pier and will create a new landmark on the Chao Phraya River for Thai people and international tourists to commemorate the charm of this legendary giant ship. The official launch celebration of Asiatique The Riverfront's new look is scheduled for October 15, 2020.
The first way: the Sirima Hannop High Ship – a new landmark on the Chao Phraya River – was built by a prototype of a three-masted sailing vessel used in the early days of Siam's trade relations with the Western world during the reign of King Rama V. The ship was the flagship of King Chulalongkorn, who established diplomatic relations with European countries during his state visits to Europe, bringing prosperity to the land of Siam. Sirimahannop Tall Ship will anchor at Asiatique The Riverfront Marina, where visiting Thai and international customers will travel back in time on this legendary vessel while enjoying food and drinks at the Marquis Queen's Park Hotel at Bangkok Marriott's uniquely styled casual restaurant and bar.

The drinks and culinary ideas are very appealing, especially the three cocktails showcasing Thai tropical fruits. "I Am Farang" blends the fruity flavors of guava and strawberries with tea, as this ship was once a type of vessel known as the "Tea Boat". "Lychee" is especially popular with female guests and is served in a teaky cup with aperitif and watermelon foam. The "Rose Apple" is then a blend of local Thai spirits with a unique rose apple liqueur and brought out of the jug in front of the guests for best results.
In terms of cooking, many dishes are inspired by the boat voyage between Thailand and Europe, but all are delicious:
For example, "Smoked Pepper Mackerel" is based on Scandinavian cuisine, while the restaurant's "Spicy Eggplant Curry in the Gulf of Thailand" blends various Asian cultures in a smoky dish, paired with grilled meats and steamed rice. Salted Caramel Banana Bundt is a slightly sweet drink menu that complements the drink menu, followed by a chunk of Choc Chip Sof Cookies, Double Choc Solf Cookies.
