"A peacekeeping trip, a lifetime of peacekeeping." When you walk through here, it will definitely be different from when you came. "That's what the last peacekeepers said to me when I set foot on Lebanese soil. Looking back at the road traveled since joining a peacekeeping mission, this sentence is so profound and clear.
In my sophomore year of international English electives, I looked at the photos of peacekeepers wearing blue berets, blue silk scarves around their necks, and five-star red flags on their arms, and listened to the instructors tell the stories of their experiences in peacekeeping... The dream of peacekeeping was quietly planted in my heart at that moment. When I graduated, I got my first chance to choose a job by virtue of my overall high score. With a vision of my dream, I firmly chose a unit to undertake peacekeeping tasks, and after more than a year of experience, I was also honored to pass the peacekeeping selection.

During my peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, my identity was that of a press officer. At first, I didn't even understand terms such as "left and right channel", "push and pull", "empty mirror" and so on. In order to make up for the shortcomings of news expertise as soon as possible, he is responsible for duty monitoring during the day and overtime at night to learn photography and video and other related materials. Fortunately, during this time, I got to know my comrades who were on missions in other units, and I benefited greatly from sharing their experiences in journalism with me. My notebook was also densely packed with various technical parameters, shooting essentials, and even drew a lot of sketches.
In the dead of night, sitting alone in my office, I often think: When I come to Lebanon to write news, how do I tell the motherland and the people what we have done? How can a peacekeeping force that goes abroad be better reported? How can you write a news that has both temperature and hardness?
My detachment is mainly responsible for the "Blue Line" pile planting, engineering construction, repair of critical infrastructure and the provision of humanitarian relief, which require long-term outdoor construction. In order to be able to get first-hand materials, I took the initiative to apply to eat and live with the officers and soldiers who went out on construction tasks, worked with the team during the day, and came back at night to write press releases. After more than a month, I basically mastered the work of collecting, cutting, and editing "one-stop" news. With the broadening of horizons, the expansion of thinking, and the improvement of the pattern, I have become more mature.

During the construction period, the officers and men cheered each other up, and the scene of fighting in the sky and the earth was very spectacular. In the face of the blazing heat, the officers and men let the sweat flow freely on their cheeks, and none of them flinched, even at the hottest time of noon. In order to restore the water supply function of the submersible pumps of the friendly peacekeepers as soon as possible, we continued to fight from morning to night, with wet clothes and wet wet, and the average daily working hours exceeded 12 hours.
This time, I was not only a press officer, but also a construction commander who led the team. While controlling the safety of the scene, I used my camera to capture every wonderful picture, record every sweaty figure, and shoot every moving moment. After 2 days of hard work, looking at the young faces with clear "mask prints" and the blood bubbles on their hands, my heart has always been touched. In fact, stories like this happen every day, and there are too many to count.

"Uh huh... The piercing anti-aircraft sirens shattered the early morning silence, and my first reaction from waking up from my dream was to quickly put on my body armor, pick up my camera and rush to the anti-aircraft bunker. In the sweltering bunker, there was only silence and contemplation, the air around it seemed to freeze, and the explosions near the camp were incessant. When I smelled the pungent smell of gunpowder in the air, I said that I was not afraid of being false, but what I did was to summon up enough courage to face the test of life and death of blood and fire. Since the peacekeeping, I have run into bunkers countless times, and although I have been able to do so every time, I have never dared to slack off for half a minute. Because I know that danger is all around us, and it can happen at any time.
Do not live up to the oath of the expedition, do not live up to the original intention of peacekeeping, and live up to the youth of Shaohua. The experience of peacekeeping not only made my youth a little more blue and added a wonderful point, but also made me more aware of the meaning of youth in struggle and the value of soldiers on the battlefield.
