Concord's Dragon Boat Festival has traditionally been the flagship celebration in North America, and this year it's home to continental Europe's best racing cars, headline music performances, cultural centres and mobile shows, local markets and food vendors, new public art programs and family-friendly events, all nestled between the sea and the sky, just minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Salmon Festival

The 75th Anniversary Of The Steveston Fisherman's Wharf Salmon Festival will be celebrated starting June 25, knowing Canada Day on July 1. The celebration will celebrate the rich history of the event through storytelling, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and activities by local artists, businessmen, and community groups. Visitors will have the opportunity to share their personal memories and precious moments in Steveston. The community is at the heart of the festival program, highlighting themes of family, fitness and entertainment. Because the Salmon Festival runs throughout the week, from June 25, Fisherman's Wharf offers salmon bags, including a piece of fresh salmon and some side dishes. Book in advance, you can pick up your meal on June 30th, and you can start a delicious backyard barbecue on Canada Day! Remember that it can only be booked, and there is no on-site purchase on June 30th.

One of the events of this year's Salmon Festival is the Kite Festival– the Pacific Rim Kite Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. from June 25 to 26. Come out and see kites of all shapes and sizes, from simple diamond kites to 30-foot rainbow bowls, from Japanese hexagons to fighter kites in India. In addition to hands-on activities in the tents of the kite-making studio, visitors can also watch performances such as sports kites flying in formations with music. This festival is free and open to everyone.

More activities will focus on the long weekend of Canada Day on July 1, everyone pays attention to the Big Wen Parents' Meeting, don't miss it~

Royal Canadian Circus

Come under the exclusive marquee of the circus and get a glimpse of the world of traditional circuses. Greek Day

Broadway Greek Day is Vancouver's largest one-day Greek festival and the finale to the month-long Greek Heritage Festival. Organized by BC Greece-Canada Association, the festival aims to share in the rich Greek culture spanning 2,500 years of history, including more than 100 years of social and cultural contributions to the city of Vancouver.

The five blocks of West Broadway, from Macdonald to Blendheim, stretch out for almost a kilometer, are closed and cleared, making room for delicious Greek food and drink, market vendors, entertainment and live music, providing a laid-back and lively Greek atmosphere. This award-winning festival offers valued community partners the opportunity to showcase their products, promote travel experiences or showcase their brands to a large number of captive consumers. With over 700 artists, 200 performances, 19 venues and more than 60 free-to-play performances, musicians from Canada and South Korea attend this highly anticipated annual festival.

Scandinavian Midsummer

During midsummer, you can enjoy many activities. This includes two full days of live music performances, including many individual artists, groups and choirs. Scandinavian dancers and Vikings will perform in viking villages, including songs, games and real Viking attacks – watch out for the Nordics! At the Midsummer Market, you'll also find more than 50 stalls for you to shop for, with exciting products and crafts. The live BC Volvo Club will also host cultural displays, children's activities, troll forests, carnival games and vintage Volvo Cars for families to choose their favorite activities!

This is a community-based event held at UBC, and on the last weekend of May-August, there will be a group of musicians, artists, and some performers to bring wonderful performances, as well as some snacks, beer stalls for everyone to entertain. On Saturdays, from 1 to 2 p.m., there is also a pro bono fitness class, and the proceeds are donated to a charity.

This is a full of literary and artistic activities, take advantage of the sunshine, let's go together!
