Located in Central Turkey, Cappadocia was voted one of the top ten earth beauties by National Geographic magazine and is one of the two best places on earth for a hot air balloon ride. It is famous for its fairytale cragged rock formations, fascinating rock formations, caves and historical sites of semi-hermits, in addition to the natural landscape but also the rich cultural landscape. When I first arrived here, I was really shocked by the magic of nature!! It's arguably the best part of Turkey.
Day 3, Istanbul, fly to Cappadocia and visit goreme Village
After more than 1 hour of flight we arrived at Kayseri Airport in Cappadocia, the airport is quite small, after picking up the luggage, the person who picked up the hotel was already waiting outside the airport, from the airport to Goreme where we stayed about an hour drive.
The sky is so blue that all kinds of beautiful scenery in the car are already in sight.
We stayed at a local cave hotel
After checking in, we first found a place to have lunch. On the left is cheese pizza (recommended, delicious), and on the right should be something called Sac tava, with chicken tomatoes and the like. Below is the pasta, salad (more general).
After eating, clean up and go out to shake. Plateau sunshine is particularly strong, the temperature difference between day and night is large, sun protection and warmth are very important, and it is very dry, going out for a day and coming back with a dust, but the sky is really super blue.
The town is entirely developed by tourism, a variety of restaurants, hotels, tourist shops, etc., many of which are cave-like houses, which are a bit similar to the cave dwellings of the Loess Plateau.

Popular science time, how did such a magical landform form?
It is reported that volcanic eruptions millions of years ago created this unique lunar-like landform on Earth. Mount Elgias and Mount Hassan to the south of this area were formerly active volcanoes. Over time, thousands of tons of volcanic material erupted from the three major local volcanoes, eventually turning it into a volcanic material kingdom. The first eruptions left behind a layer of soft rock called "travertine", followed by a more rigid layer of basalt. This high-density material forms a protective surface that slows the rate at which the travertine below is eroded. Over time, under the exposure of the sun and the erosion of wind, frost, rain and snow, the soft parts of the rock are eroded away, forming gorges and ravines on the ground and undercurrent caves underground. The more solid parts remain, forming a variety of rocks. Among them, there are cliffs with thousands of walls, folds that wind for dozens of miles, and more stalagmites and stone pillars like mushrooms, tree stumps, and minarets, which constitute an open-air museum lined with strange stones.
Goreme Village
We bought the Turkish national beer ephes at the viewpoint kiosk and waited for the sunset. When the sun sets, there are many people, seeing that some girls specially bring wedding dresses here to take pictures, and foreign local tycoons even brought an aerial camera to aerial photography, we called out, NB!
The sun and the moon shine together, is there any?
I heard that we could see the galaxy here at night, but when we went it was nearly mid-autumn, and it was when the moon was full and bright, which completely obscured the starlight.
Dinner was eaten in a very atmospheric but also very willful shop, his family has no menu, only 3 sets to choose from: chicken, beef, lamb, serving is very slow, we ate a meal for almost 2 hours, but after the meal the owner prepared a small gift for everyone, well, forgive you ~ ~
After eating and going back late, everyone went back to the room early to rest, and tomorrow morning experienced hot air balloon flight~
