After the 41 million euro transfer to Bayern, Mane shouted to his old club: always be liverpool's number one fan
Speaking about the Reds, the Senegal international said he would be the number one fan forever.
Sadio Mane declared himself Liverpool's "eternal number one fan" after completing his transfer to Bayern Munich this week.
The striker moved to the Bundesliga title for €41 million (£35m/$43m), kicking off his six-year career for Liverpool.
Mane left Anfield as one of the club's most famous overseas players. Although he will no longer be a member of the Reds, the Senegal international insists that the Reds will continue to occupy a prominent place in his heart and that he plans to continue to support them unreservedly after leaving.
What did Mane say?
"After every game in Munich, I come to the dressing room and I will definitely watch Liverpool's games and I will always be liverpool's number one fan," Mane told the club's website in his farewell speech.
"I just want to say, good luck to them, I keep an eye on them. To be sure, they will get better because I know these kids: great players, great talent, maturity and attitude, so of course, Liverpool will always be better, for sure. ”
"I still have property in Liverpool, so I will definitely come back and of course I hope to come back to Anfield one day to say hello and watch Liverpool play because for me I will be the number one fan of Liverpool - after the supporters!"

Mane paid tribute to Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, who together helped Liverpool achieve success at home and abroad, winning honours including the Premier League, the Champions League and the Club World Cup.
