New Caperna: Five families

Work-study union

Derived from the craftsmen who built the old Caperna Kingdom, the Workers' Union was the main force in Kodaya, the mortal builders of the new Caperna and the caretaker of the largest inventory of gold circles in the city. They are a noisy, action-first, fast-moving criminal family whose members are not afraid to fight with all their might to achieve their goals. Once a labor union, the Federation still upholds many of the values that once organized them: loyalty, great strength, and mutual support.

Under the stable management of the demon Dragon Chidora, the scope of influence of the Federation of Workers covers the entire city, even though they are usually only associated with the lower cities. Without the knowledge and expertise of the Workers' Union, architecture cannot develop upwards – or downwards. Without them, the city would fall. Inspired by Chidora's vision of integrating the Dragon Clan, the Federation believes they are the heirs to the Dragon Clan's legacy; They were able to dismantle and rebuild cities, and they were not afraid to engage in such radical dismantling and reconstruction, especially when their efforts were aimed at the enemy.

The trade unions are concentrated in Kodaya, where they work in factories and forges, but they are also seen buildings throughout the city and dismantling buildings that fail to pay for protection on time.

The central location of the Workers' Union

The headquarters of the Federation is Choi Zha Cave, a cave warehouse nest located in the Kodaya Port Zone, where Zidora rests and manages the work union's affairs. In this expansive space, Zidora asked her union subordinates to build a monument to show its glory, and to shape its steel beams and balconies in the shape of dragons. High ceilings and passageways with melted metal depict the interior boundaries of the space, spanning a dark glass floor. Choi Zha Cave is always busy, often scurrying with the reception of recent stolen goods by the smugglers of the Labor Union, the training of new students by the nest supervisor, and the general loud sound of heavy drinking.

Hidden beneath the Choi Gra Cave and open only to Qidora and her most senior Workers' Union staff is Chidora's Dragon Vault, a huge vault filled with gold and gold circles. The place is quite dangerous for those without dragon heritage or other safeguards: the air itself burns with poison gas imported from the Kodaya plant, a safety measure to protect the Kingdom-era treasures, gold, and gold circles that Zidora has stored inside.

Secret News Gang

In Old Caperna, the Secret Tale Gang is a group of magicians; Now, they are prophecies, fortune telling, and mystical exchanges with dreams and the realm of the dead. If an event occurs in the city, the Secret News Gang will anticipate it, capture it with their signature aperture magic, and then archive it in the archives. They are the builders and destroyers of destiny; For a price, you can have the future you want, or bury someone's future.

The Secret Story Gang is led by Rafiyin, a Sphinx demon from Old Caperna who is prone to foreseeing future omens. The Secret Story Gang strives to maintain a balance between the five families; If they can't conquer the city by brute force, they can at least control the flow of new Caperna information by deception, extortion of powerful opponents, spreading rumors, fraud, and whitewashing their reputations.

The Secret Gang is mainly concentrated in Mezzio, but they also appear in highland gardens' rare lounges and Kodaya's dirty sewers. As prophecies, fortune tellers, and conductors of fortune, it was the secret gang's duty to appear in every part of the city, and they had to pretend that they would stay only in their warm and comfortable shops and lounges.

Their headquarters is Spire Genting, a seemingly inaccessible skyscraper in Highland Park where Rafein and her high-ranking staff keep an eye on the city through an extensive network of surveillance magic.

The central location of the Secret News Gang

Although most of the Secret Story Gang's operations are concentrated in Mezzio, the heart palace at the heart of the Secret Story Gang's operation is The Spire Cloud Tops, a towering skyscraper in Highland Park. On its topmost observatory, Rafael sets her office between the Secret Society's most astute and powerful divination and surveillance instruments: the air itself is filled with whispers and ghost images, which are real-time images of the city transmitted to her by Rafiyin's live agents.

The ground floor of Spire Genting contains the ShōnenKan, where secret agents use scale maps of the entire city and a library of time prophecies about history and the potential future to plan and strategize.

Absolute Arts League

Once the aristocratic class of the old Caperna, the new Caperna's Master of Arts is a master killer with standards: precision, professionalism, and rigor. They consider themselves artists and critics. Paintings, sculptures, or performances, the Riafins are avid collectors who are constantly looking for the next masterpiece, while also silently organizing the past of the new Caperna and hiding the secrets of the old Caperna in their museum archives and secret cellars.

Led by the demon vampire Lord Shandall, the Grand Master is the top Assassin of the new Caperna, and this group of vampire professional killers sees the contract not only as a business, but also as an opportunity to perform. They maintain a distorted and selfish view of their work: they are the saviors of the city, unparalleled philanthropists, relentlessly pursuing the fame and cultural treasures they think they deserve. In order to achieve their goals, they will kill without hesitation or regret.

The League is mainly divided into Mezzio and Highland Park. They were rarely seen in Kodaya, except for charity, and the League thugs and Assassins preferred to stay in areas where they considered the new Caperna to be more sophisticated and literate. Being in an exclusive lounge is as comfortable as attending a haute dinner, and there's an undeniable appeal to the members of the League – a vampire physique, of course, but also a flair for taste. Their headquarters is the Old Caperna Museum, located in Highland Park, where Lord Shandal set up his office.

Like the Secret Story Gang, the Grand Master often haunts Mezzio but has its headquarters in Highland Park. The Old Caperna Museum is the main gathering place of the Fine Arts League, where Lord Shandauer serves as Chief Curator and Host. Inside the museum, one can stroll through the warm, clean gallery of the new Caperna history and see art from the Kingdom era, sculptures, artifacts, the city's early history, and even some contemporary art. Hidden in the museum are entrances to the Shadow House, where the Assassins gather to exchange secrets and contracts, and Shang-Er's secret cellar, where the old vampire's artifacts, weapons, souvenirs, and private collections of art are stored.

Music and balls

Derived from the old Capena de Lui and the bard, the ball is the driving engine of the celebrations, festivals, and parties of the new Caperna, dominating popular culture and the trends that influence the elite. As wealthy revelers, the Balls operate ballrooms, concert venues, and the finest restaurants in the various boroughs of the city. Their doors are always open, and they always greet you with a smile, but don't want to leave until you settle your bill.

The BallRoom Hegemony | painted by Kari Christensen

The ball is run by the demon cat Jamil, who is known for his generosity and jealousy at the same time. Once an ordinary druid, Jamil's long life in charge of the music ball has cemented his reputation as a true showrunner. In New Caperna, the music and balls take advantage of favors, culture, and coins. Their parties and influencers decide who is "selected" and who is "out", which restaurants and venues will succeed and which will fail, whose music will be played on the stage and whose records will fall into Kodaya's trash can. If you want to become a star or tycoon in the new Caperna, you have to find a way to pay the dues to the music and dance.

The music and ball are scattered throughout The Mezzio and Highland Park, where they act as trends leaders and destroyers, cultural seekers, and creators. Their headquarters is Vantone, where the main celebrations of the new Caperna are held in this vast venue in Mezzio, and the founders of Gemil will ensure that the circulation of the golden circle never stops.

The Music and Ball is a creature of Metzio, operating nightclubs, concert halls, and lounges throughout the city's largest borough. Their most famous venue is Wantong Hui, a vast entertainment complex where parties never seem to end, golden circles are continuously served, and any entertainment or personal preference can be purchased at a specific price, as usual.

While Broadway is open to the public, some areas of the mega-complex are open only to select guests: the Rose Room at Wantongway is the most exclusive lounge, with doors open only to high-ranking party staff, the hottest stars, and people whom Gemir personally considers quirky, funny, or glamorous.

Fuji Society

The Fuji Society was originally recruited by the Holy Warriors of old Caperna; In New Caperna, they are rigorous favor traders, implementing a selfish but still effective form of contractual protection. They are focused on maintaining a peace that benefits the five families and maintaining the illusion that this is a city of norms and order. Whether you want them to do it or not, they will keep you safe.

The Hegemonic | of the Fuji Society was painted by Dallas Williams

The Fuji Society is led by the demon Evan von Kospala, who is the founder of the Fuji Society's weaving ability. As the new Caperna grew stronger and moved away from its founding years, Von Ko – the once social defender – retreated to his residence in Highland Garden, where he led the Fusai Society from behind his desk and studied esoteric legal theories.

There are many whispers about his way of practicing: he manages to decipher a doomsday prophecy that threatens the whole of New Caperna, but he guides the Fusai Society to take advantage of this impending doomsday rather than prevent it from happening. These whispers were quickly suppressed by the senior partners, and they secretly feared that Feng Ke's fascination with prophecy might make his worst fears come true.

The Fujisha were initially servants, agents of the top, villains who felt comfortable in the worst of circumstances – their suits were not without reason.

Performing a unique contractual magic invented by their founders, the Fujah Society provides services to those in need without upfront costs. Whether it's being picked up in Kodaya by a group of workers wearing finger tigers, or being cornered by bloodthirsty Jedi League assassins in Highland Garden, the Fuji Society intervenes when called upon, offering terms and fighting for their new customers. The price is always the same: with benefits that are hard to refuse — your teeth, your career, or your life — in exchange for a favor to cash in later.

The headquarters of the Fuccio Society is the Nido Hall, a luxurious office located in the Central District of Metzio.

The central location of the Fuji Society

Although the staff of the Fuzi Society tended to live in the Highland Garden around Von Ke's loft, their main office was in Mezzio. Nido Hall is a bright, clean, and well-equipped office building in the heart of the borough, with a number of law firms and bodyguards open to the public throughout the day.

The premises' restricted areas include training areas, ordnance rooms, and dormitories for lawyers and newcomers. Von Kospala's residence was also in the Nido Hall, but he used it rarely and visited the company frequently, after all, his prophetic texts were kept in its ironclad treasury.
