Car Pagani in Italy unveiled an extended version of the Huayra model, the new car is named Pagani Huayra Codalunga, the new car is priced at 7 million euros.
At the level of appearance setting, the Pagani Huayra Codalunga model is elegant and has beautiful lines, and the lengthened body is not bloated, but has a little more flowing dynamics. Compared with the standard wheelbase model, the new car has a 36 cm lengthening, and the application of this 36 cm lengthening fully reflects Pagani's unremitting pursuit of sports extremes.
First, the increased body length gave the air movement designers greater design freedom, which in turn led to the realization of the "rear wing rear", in which the aerodynamic downforce was more rear-back, allowing the rear axle of the Huayra Codalunga model to be more compacted on the ground. On the other hand, longer body lengths also lead to a larger underbody area, which allows engineers to comb through the "underbody diffuser" to comb the undercarriage flow, reduce drag, and provide the necessary preconditions for the body to provide greater stability.
And the new and extended body can also make the coP pressure center of the vehicle shift backwards, and then close to or even coincide with the CoM mass center, which greatly improves the front and rear balance ability during the acceleration of the vehicle, and brings a positive effect to the stability of high-speed driving. The new rear design also greatly compresses the cross-sectional area of the rear of the vehicle, which can greatly reduce air resistance through the delay of airflow separation, resulting in a smoother and more powerful acceleration experience.
At the interior level, the Huayra Codalunga model accurately reflects the craftsmanship of Pagani cars, and the neutral color blend is matched with high-grade leather, high-level cowhide covering and other grade elements, so that the warm luxury from the Apenni Peninsula is revealed. In terms of power, the Huayra Codalunga model is equipped with a 6.0T twin-turbo V12 engine with an output of up to 840 horsepower, matched with a special 7-speed sequential transmission, and accelerates in less than 3 seconds from 100 kilometers.
At the handling level, the Huayra Codalunga model is equipped with a chassis made of carbon titanium and carbon triaxial composite materials, the suspension is in the form of a pusher, and the whole is made of lightweight materials such as forged aluminum alloy, which has a high sense of driving quality and physical handling limits.
