Wine Highlights:

1. The Baroness Bishan was rated as a second-class estate in the 1855 classification, and is also recognized as one of the "super-second-class estates" by the public. 2. The 2021 Solitaire Des Bechamps red wines also received a high score of 94-96+ from Jeb Dunnuck and a high score of 94-96 from Jeff Leve The Wine Cellar Insider, respectively. Among them, Jeb Danak also praised the wine as "another incredible success for the winemaking team".

3. 2021 Due to weather reasons, the wine production of The Lady of Beaux is only about one-third of that of previous years, and the yield per hectare is only 1,500 liters, and the amount of genuine wine produced is small and of high quality, which is worth looking forward to.

4. The Château Des Bechaux Grande Red wines have been named to Liv-ex's "Power 100" list for many years, and their 2009 vintage was also included in Robert Parker's "The Magical 20" list.

5. Since 2007, the Château Duchess de Bechamp has been run by the Rouzaud family, owners of Champagne Louis Roederer, which is strong and provides strong human, material and financial support for the further development of the estate.

6. Nicolas Glumineau, managing and winemaker, joined Château Duchess Bechamp in 2012 after five years at Chateau Montrose, where he also worked at Chateau Haut-Brion and Chateau Margaux, where he has extensive experience in managing and brewing wine. His addition has breathed new life into the winery and promoted the quality of its wines.

Celebrity Reviews:

Anthony Gayloni: 96-98 points

The 2021 Château Des BechauxEsques is an epic premium wine and certainly one of the outstanding wines of this vintage. Unfortunately, the year's fruit fall and mildew, combined with a drought at the end of the growing season, led to a full two-thirds reduction in the winery's production. That said, there is a limited number of quantities available for purchase on the market. Although this 2021 vintage has an alcohol content of only 12.9% abv, it exhibits a rich and luxurious personality, feeling its wonderful layering and seductive charm at the first entrance, and gradually developing aromas of red fruits, flowers, mint, white pepper and dry spices. Cabernet Sauvignon has a percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in this wine, which is a very high proportion compared to previous vintages. In short, the 2021 Château Des Bechampss red wines are an elaborate masterpiece of its technical director, Nicholas Guramil, and his team. If there is a must-buy vintage in this vintage, it must be the red wine of The Lady of Beaux. If the final bottling of this wine is as good as this sample, the price is likely to rise sharply because the production is too small, so don't miss it.

Jeb Danak: 94-96+ points

One of the treasures of this vintage is the 2021 Société Duspeville Des Bechaux red wines, with cabernet Franc and Merlot accounting for only 10% and 2% respectively, and the liquor aged in oak barrels with a new barrel ratio of 60%. This year suffered a significant reduction in yield due to mold and fruit fall, with the final yield reaching only 1,500 l/ha. The alcohol content of this wine is about 13% abv, the pH is 3.69, and the total polyphenol index (IPT) is 75. In addition, some pressed wines were used in the vintage. Stats aside, the quality of this wine is outstanding, with a pure and delicate palate, medium to full body, flavours of blackcurrant, violet, graphite and chalk minerals, extremely delicate tannins, deep mid-range taste and long afterglow, which will benefit from 7-8 years of vintage in vis-à-vis and a Boyac wine with excellent ageing potential. This is yet another incredible success for this winemaking team.

The 2021 Duchess Bisanne red wines have a wonderful depth of colour and the liquor emits aromas of flowers, blackberries, black cherries, tobacco wrappers, humidors and spices. Sweet fruity notes intertwined with hints of salt and supple tannins. On the palate it is fresh and has a distinctly salty finish and peppery and chewy red fruit notes. This is a modern classic Style Ofsan Duchess Rosé, a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot, with an alcohol content of 12.9% abv and a pH of 3.75. This is the second highest Cabernet Sauvignon ratio ever used by the winery. The harvest period for the 2021 vintage lasted from 22 September to 5 October, and yields were very low, at just 1,500 litres per hectare, almost 70% lower than normal yields.
