Biden gave another $1 billion in military reinforcements, and the Ukrainian general "hit the chicken blood": bombed the Crimean Bridge

author:Paitou International Station

On Wednesday, local time, Biden made a phone call with Zelenskiy. As soon as the phone hung up, Ukraine "offered" $1 billion worth of military aid. Perhaps with the support of someone, the Ukrainian general said wildly: as soon as the weapon arrived, it would blow up the Crimean Bridge.

However, don't look at the United States here to arch the fire arch quite happy, but some foreign media pointed out that the United States is facing the risk of being "hollowed out".

The Ukrainian army "sold miserably" said that there was no weapon, and Biden gave another 1 billion military aid

According to CNN reported on the 15th, the Biden administration announced on Wednesday that it would provide an additional $1 billion in military assistance to Ukraine for confrontation with Russia. These reinforcements included 18 howitzers, 36,000 rounds of howitzer ammunition and the Harpoon coastal defense system.

Just before Biden's statement, the Ukrainian army performed poorly, losing in key battlefields such as Donbass. In addition, due to insufficient weapons, the Ukrainian army has removed the ammunition of the Soviet era. And as the war continues, Ukrainian officials are begging the West for more heavy weapons.

But perhaps arguing that it is fighting for the West and Russia, Ukraine's "appetite" is growing and it is dissatisfied with the speed at which Western countries are supplying weapons. Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Mariar recently claimed that only 10 percent of western weapons are in place to aid Ukraine.

In addition, Zelenskiy's senior adviser, Podoriak, released a new list of weapons on Monday that would "drive Russia out of Ukraine," including 1,000 NATO-standard 155mm howitzers, 300 multiple rocket launch systems, 500 tanks, 2,000 armored vehicles and 1,000 drones.

The US government strongly supports Ukraine, and foreign media bluntly say: the United States may be hollowed out

The Pentagon noted that since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the United States has pledged more than $5 billion in security assistance to Ukraine. In the face of Ukraine, which is still constantly "lions opening their mouths", some foreign media can't look at it. A number of foreign media said that Ukraine's requirements for Western weapons are close to the limit, and if the United States wants to meet these requirements, it will face the end of "its own army without weapons".

For example, the British newspaper The Guardian quoted data from the International Institute for Strategic Studies as reporting that the number of rocket launch systems proposed by Ukraine is about half of the US stockpile of such weapons. Demand for 155 mm howitzers will empty all U.S. inventories.

On the other hand, Mirley, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, refuted the Ukrainian side's claims. "The speed at which we provide security assistance is unparalleled," he said. In addition, Milly unceremoniously reminded the Ukrainian side: "In war, any weapon system is not omnipotent. He also said that if the Ukrainians used weapons systems provided by the United States and other allies, "they should be able to destroy a large number of targets." The implication is very clear: it is not that we have given few weapons, but that the Ukrainian army is too dish.

Ukraine has the courage to blow up the Crimean Bridge

It is worth mentioning that after getting the support of the United States, Ukraine instantly "thickened" a lot.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian Major General Marchenko said in an interview that Ukraine should destroy Europe's longest bridge once it gets the weapons it needs from the West: the Crimean Bridge, which connects Crimea to Russia itself.

Marchenko also said that once the bridge is cut off, "those who fly the Russian flag in Crimea will start to hang the Ukrainian flag."

Russia Today (RT) pointed out that Malchenko predicted that Ukraine would launch a "counter-offensive" in the interview, and said that if the United States and its NATO allies provide enough weapons and ammunition, Ukraine will win before the end of the summer.

Embarrassingly, though, despite Malchenko's harsh rhetoric to blow up the bridge, the entire Black Sea coast from Kherson to Mariupol is currently under the control of Russian forces and pro-Russian armed militias in the Donbass region.
