Eating crab raw as a medicinal primer, a young man in Qiandongnan Prefecture was infected with a variety of parasites, causing cerebral hemorrhage and multi-organ failure, and was sent to the hospital for treatment before getting out of danger.
Luo Mou, a 27-year-old native of Danzhai County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, is engaged in excavator operations. In early April, when Luo and his friend Wang went to the river to play, they caught two crabs.
Luo Mou said that he had heard the locals say that crab is a medicinal primer that can be eaten raw, so the two of them ate one raw each. Unexpectedly, the next day, both of them developed diarrhea, vomiting and other symptoms.
At that time, Luo And Wang did not pay attention to it, thinking that it was just a stomach trouble, so they bought some antidiarrheal drugs in the pharmacy. After about half a month, Luo always felt that his left hand could not be forced, his body was soft and soft, and there were symptoms such as headache, cough, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Because his physical condition affected his work, Luo was only examined by the hospital. Originally thought it was just a cold, the results of the hospital examination really startled him: the left parietal lobe was hemorrhage on the head CT, the coagulation function was seriously abnormal, and the eosinophils were as high as 57.4% (the normal value was 0.5-5).

Luo's blood parasite antibodies were positive
After further examination, luo's blood parasite multiple antibodies were positive, indicating that Luo had been infected with a variety of parasites. On April 22, due to his serious condition, Luo was sent to the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University.
Dr. Liu Tongying of the Emergency Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University said that Luo Mou's cranial brain CT had cerebral hemorrhage in the right temporal parietal lobe, cerebral edema of the right temporal parietal lobe, a small amount of fluid pneumothorax in the left lung, and a small amount of pleural effusion in the right lung. In addition, the right lobe of his liver was also damaged.
Combined with the results of the examination, the doctor discussed and believed that Luo mou lived in a parasitic infection area, had contact with infected water and ate crabs raw, and considered that he was infected with parasites.
Subsequently, the attending doctor formulated an insect repellent program for Luo. Sure enough, the next day after taking the medicine, Luo Mou felt much more comfortable in his stomach, and the symptoms of dizziness and headache were also alleviated. Dr. Liu Tongying said that after a week of treatment, Luo was cured and discharged from the hospital.
Luo Mou's liver invaded by the parasite
According to reports, parasites are pathogenic low-grade eukaryotes, which can be used as pathogens or as vectors to spread diseases, causing varying degrees of damage to the liver, intestines, brains, etc. of the human body. Some parasites can lurk for 10 years, up to 20 years, and the faster-breeding female Japanese schistosomiasis can lay about 1,000 eggs a day.
Doctors remind that good living habits are the key to rejecting parasitic infections, including not drinking raw water, not eating raw meat, raw seafood, raw river fresh, not eating unclean raw and cold food, vegetables, melons and fruits must also be washed before eating.
