Born in Vienna on March 8, 1859

From 1877 to 1882 he studied at the Vienna Academy of Arts. At the age of 20, he was awarded a gold medal by the Vienna City Government for his outstanding painting talents. After graduation, he created a large number of murals as a freelance painter, thus forming his own unique style. He created many comfortable female and cupid figures in the early stages, and later turned to angels, elves, seductive women and folklore.
