The king and princess of the Joseon Dynasty, Queen Jeongjun, the stepfather of The Greatest Age difference in Joseon Dynasty

author:History of those things last

Hello everyone, we all know that in ancient times, the age difference between the emperor and the concubine may be very large, and today's introduction to you is the king and princess of the Joseon Dynasty with the largest age difference, she is the stepfather of the Joseon Young-joo.

Queen Zhenchun can be elected queen, her family lineage must be outstanding, her father is Aoxing Fuyuan Junjin Hanqi, her mother Yuan shi is Xiaozong, the descendant of the important minister Yuan Douyu during the sutra period, in fact, her father's generation has fallen, so the Kim clan is not a famous lady in the true sense. Today's story also begins with Yingzu, who died thirty-three years after Yingzu's original wife, Queen Zhensheng. Three years later, the mourning period of Queen Zhensheng ended, and the ministers asked Yingzu to establish him on the grounds that the position of the Middle Palace had been hanging for a long time, but at first Yingzu was reluctant. But then, for some reason, Yingzu agreed to be elected, and even dismissed the minister who was not concerned about this matter. Because Emperor Suzong of Joseon once decreed that it was not allowed to make a harem concubine a princess, (because of the misfortune of Zhang Xi concubine, So Suzong did not allow the harem concubine to be promoted to a princess, for details, please see my previous article "The First Demon Woman in Korean History - Jang Hee Concubine") So Yingzu can only be selected by the people. In the heavy selection, the Kim clan stood out and was selected as the princess. In fact, part of the reason why the Kim family was chosen was that the Kim family had a high academic reputation, and the husband of the eldest daughter of Yingzu was from the Kim family. However, according to the Huiqinggong Hong clan, the Reason why the Kim clan was chosen as queen was because the two classes of nobles did not want their daughter, who was in the middle of the miao age, to marry Yingzu, who had reached the age of Ear Shun.

In fact, it is understandable that the two classes of nobles were reluctant to marry their daughters to Yingzu, but it was understandable that Queen Zhenchun was only fifteen years old when she married Yingzu, but Yingzu was already sixty-six years old at that time, and he was seven years older than Queen Zhenchun's grandfather, so she did not give birth to children after marriage. Queen Zhenchun's family was not originally a member of the imperial family, but after Queen Zhenchun entered the palace, her brother held an important official position in the dynasty, and gradually formed a new force, that is, the Southern Party, which was opposed to the "Northern Party" of Hong Fenghan, the father-in-law of Si Mourning Shizi. Hong Fenghan was bent on making Si Mo Shizi ascend the throne, but the people of the Jin family were naturally unwilling, so they tried their best to frame Si Mo Shizi and try to abolish Si Mo Shizi. Only by abolishing the Si Mourning Son can the children of Queen Zhenchun be made the new son of the world. It was also under their plot that the Noon Disaster occurred (North Korea's Young-zu deposed Si Mourning Shizi, who was acting as an agent, and locked him in a cabinet and suffocated him). After the noon disaster, Queen Zhenchun's brother openly said that after his grandson Li Qi was a sinner, he was not worthy to inherit the throne. Although they later argued that it was framed by the Northern Party, the matter was confirmed by Li Zhi.

Later, the Southern Party members joined forces with Lord Huan Weng and Zheng Houqian's mother and son to frame Hong Fenghan, although they were ostensibly for Li Qi's good, but in fact affected Li Qi's position in the government. Li Qi later lived on thin ice in the palace, and Yingzu constantly doubted him, and the courtiers opposed him to acting as an agent. During this most difficult time, it was Queen Zhenchun who supported him all the time, and in order to protect his safety, Queen Zhenchun personally guarded his diet and stayed away. It is said that in order to let Li Qi listen to the government, Queen Zhenchun pleaded with Yingzu for more than ten consecutive days, and finally Yingzu was relieved, so that Li Qi had the right to listen to the government. In the fifty-second year of Yingzu, Yingzu died and was succeeded by his grandson Li Qi, who did not make Queen Zhenchun a grand concubine according to the previous rules, but only made her a princess. After Zhengzu succeeded to the throne, he began to liquidate the ministers who had previously opposed him, and the Golden Turtle Pillar (queen Zhenchun's brother), who had previously opposed Hong Fenghan, was also exiled, and Queen Zhenchun was so distraught that she even planned to commit suicide as soon as Yingzu's three-year mourning period expired. Jeongjo did intend to kill the Golden Turtle Pillar at first, but in view of Queen Zhenchun's kindness, he was exiled. Later, Queen Zhenchun also helped Zhengzu clean up other unworthy people, and ordered the expansion of the harem for Zhengzu, and it was at this time that The Yi Concubine Cheng clan and the Concubine Yin clan entered the palace.

In fact, there are many contradictions between Queen Zhenchun and Zhengzu, the biggest of which is the posthumous title of Si Mo Shizi (Zheng Zu's biological father), Zheng Zu is bent on reversing the case for Si Mo Shizi and posthumously crowning him as king, but this move is opposed by Queen Zhen Chun and the courtiers. Therefore, during the Zhengzu period, Si Mourning Shizi was not posthumously crowned as king, but only changed his title to Zhuang Xianshizi. However, out of the love of father and son, Jeongjo used the eight-character honorific title when he gave the title of Zhuang Xianshizi, knowing that only the king in Korea could use the eight-character honorific title, which naturally won the acquiescence of Queen Jeongchun. But this contradiction has not broken out, so in the Zhengzu period, Queen Zhenchun and Zhengzu have always lived in harmony. Later, Jeongjo died, and the throne was inherited by the eleven-year-old Chunzu of Joseon, queen Jeongchun was made the grand princess of the king, and as chunzu's grandmother, she did not do anything when she was listening to the government, she eliminated many ministers of the Namjin Party, and also took the opportunity to support the Kim family. In the three years of Chunzu, there were major fires in the country, and even the palace was accidentally caught on fire. Soon after the fire broke out in the palace, Queen Zhenchun announced that she would withdraw the curtain and return to the government, but in fact, she still held the power of the government.

Queen Zhenchun died of illness at the age of sixty-one in the fifth year of Chunzu and was buried with Yingzu in Yuan Ling, with the courtesy name "Zhenchun". With the death of Queen Jeongchun, the Kim family lost its protective umbrella, and the Kim family gradually declined. Later, due to Kim Han-rok's gaffe during the Yingzu period, many of Queen Jeongchun's relatives were punished and exiled, and the Kim family was devastated.
