Starling
It was a petite and shy starling, the first time I photographed it was on a cherry tree, and saw me approaching and not flying away but hiding behind the branches, I kept looking for a gap under the tree, and they kept playing peek-a-boo with me! I ended up taking only one set of headshots. Later, I saw it many times, often mixed with the gray starling, but it was very quiet and relatively small, and the appearance value was significantly higher than that of the gray starling, and it was determined to be a mercerized starling with my many years of experience in looking at pictures.
It wasn't until I looked at the pictures last week that I found that there were several silky starlings with red-billed red claws, while the others were all black-billed black-clawed, and then I looked at the books to learn that it was not a mercerized starling but a northern starling. Later I went there to look for the few starlings, but I never saw them.
