In addition, in 2009, Wu Wei, Wu Guoxing and Zheng Haozhong donated 5.35 million yuan to renovate the teaching building and supporting students' desks and chairs for Xinlong Primary School. Zhou Songwei, a compatriot in Hong Kong, is a native of Chaonanxia Mountain. Born in Limei Village, Heping Town, Ma Dingwei is a Chinese rice magnate in Thailand. Although he is abroad, he has always been concerned about his hometown. In 1986, with the development of education in his hometown, The Limei Primary School in his hometown planned to build a new auditorium. When the villagers informed him of the plan, he immediately agreed to fund the construction. After the completion of this new auditorium, it has become a good venue for the school to hold student gatherings, cultural performances and indoor sports, which meets the needs of the development of the school's education. In order to express their gratitude to Ma Dingwei, the villagers decided to name the auditorium "Yuxuan Hall" in the name of Ma Dingwei's father. In 1991, Mr. Ma Dingwei again donated generously to build a teaching building for Limei Primary School.

In Heping Town, there are still many deeds of overseas Chinese and villagers who have generously donated funds to promote education like this. For example, Yang Shaoqiang of Shenzhen Defi Group donated 1.4 million yuan to build the auditorium, administrative building and teachers' dormitory of Heping Junior High School to beautify the overall environment of the school; Chen Jingfang of Shenzhen Shijing Industrial Co., Ltd., donated more than 20 million yuan to build and rebuild two teaching buildings for Heping Chaolian Primary School, optimizing the environment for educating people, and so on. Many of these overseas Chinese and rural sages have left home and worked hard abroad or in other places, but the cultural tradition of the Chaoshan people who revere culture and re-education is deeply imprinted in their hearts. Therefore, they often give back to their hometown and serve the motherland in various ways as soon as they have the opportunity.
