The walking distance from Shuitang Station to Yangzong Station (K33+400~K40+000) of Yunnan-Vietnam Railway (Kunhe Railway) is about 6.6KM. A round trip of 13.57km takes 3.5 hours.
Shuitang Station is located in Qidian, was founded in 1910, and has a history of 100 years. Shuitang Station is 2037 meters above sea level, which is the highest station in the whole railway, known as the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, in fact, on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, this altitude is very common, but the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway goes all the way south, to the estuary at an altitude of only 76 meters, the height difference between the two is nearly 2000 meters. At present, the place still has a century-old railway management room, platform, water tower and still on the signal lights, but there is a little weed on the rusty railway, and the first tunnel of the Kunhe Railway, No. 001, is 100 meters long, and the tunnel is lined with blocks, finely processed with stones, and the installation of masonry is neat and flat. The walk takes about 1.5 hours and walks 6.6km to Yangzong Station. Because the car stopped at Shuitang Station, it returned to Shuitang Station along the railway. The highlight of Shuitang Station to Yangzong Station is that you can see Yangzonghai, OCT and Yangzong Power Plant.
