"Pu Niu", formerly known as Pu Jin Xue, was a regular on the podium of the Domestic Mountain Bike Open. On May 12, PARDUS Leopard Sports Bike will accompany Puniu to challenge the feat of round-trip riding at Everest Base Camp for 30 days.
Pu Niu, who has been away from the race for three years, has never given up the cycling sport he loves. He not only set up his own sports culture company, but also participated in the design of the track, and opened a bicycle training camp, continuing to work on bicycles, so that more people fell in love with cycling.
Puniu will set off on May 12 to challenge the feat of cycling 6,800 kilometers in 30 days, from Wenshan mountain in Yunnan to Everest base camp.
The Yunnan-Tibet Line taken by Puniu in this challenge is a more difficult route than the Sichuan-Tibet Line, passing through 6 yakou with an altitude of more than 5,000 meters and crossing 16 mountains with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters.
And cycling to and from Everest Base Camp within a limited time, the long distance coupled with continuous elevation climbs and unpredictable weather will be the difficulties of this challenge.
In such a harsh environment, Puniu needs to ensure that more than 200 kilometers of riding per day to ensure the completion of the challenge, the difficulty can be imagined. Especially after reaching the finish line, Pu Niu will also turn back and continue to ride back to the starting point, which will be a double test of physical strength and willpower.
The challenge was also well prepared for equipment and logistics, including a mountain bike, as well as two pardus 2022 new road cars, PARDUS Purpur provided two new 2022 road cars for puniu, one of which was used as a backup car, and provided a large number of spare accessories to deal with various situations that may occur at any time.
In order to complete the challenge of returning to Everest Base Camp, PuNiu began a series of preparations very early before departure. This year, Puniu will do long-distance riding almost every day, supplemented by some strength training. In the months near the challenge, PuNiu reduced the training load moderately and added hiking training to enhance the endurance of small muscle groups, which can alleviate cramps during continuous long-distance riding.
