On August 5, 2021, Bengliak released a whisky collection called Malting Season (hereinafter referred to as "MS") and the first wine, Malting Season First Edition (hereinafter referred to as": MS1). According to the official introduction, Malting Season is a new whisky collection from Benliac, which is made entirely of malt from the floor at the Benriac distillery. Since the establishment of the Benlyak factory, it has established its own floor wheating field, which has a history of more than 120 years. However, all of the whiskeys made from Benriak's own floor wheat are the first in a hundred years, as detailed in "The First time in a hundred years!" On October 7, 2021, a new set of Bengrillac whisky labels appeared on the Internet, according to the label, its corresponding wine is Malting Season Second Edition (hereinafter referred to as :MS2), see "Centennial Part 2!" The second wine in the Benriak Malting Season whisky collection appears.
More than half a year later, on May 10, 2022, Bengliak officially released the MS2. According to the official introduction: its raw barley type is Concerto barley, floor wheat in 2013, the original wine was all distilled on November 20, 2013, from 30 barrels of first fill Bourbon Casks original wine mixture, bottled in 2022, the wine age is 8 years, the alcohol content is 48.9% ABV, the capacity is 700ml, and the number of bottles is unknown.
From May to June 2022, the MS2 will only be available at the Benlyak Distillery Visitor Centre store with an official suggested retail price of £99. Starting from June 2022, MS2 will be available on select retail markets around the world. In addition, Bengliak officially said that MS has been clearly defined as the annual series, and a new wine will be launched under this series every year in the future.
