As soon as the sky was bright, Zhang Chunjing, wenyou of Nanpi County, Hebei Province, and Zhang Chunjing, editor-in-chief of the "Culture of the Ancient City of Hebei Province," sent a WeChat message, saying that this morning he would come to Ningjin with several calligraphers and painters from Cangzhou and Nanpi to visit the Guo Chengxing Memorial Hall. I immediately sent a WeChat message to Sun Lihua, former deputy governor of the Ningjin County People's Government, secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and president of the Cricket Association (I am the vice president) to see where I could receive it. After a short time, he called and said that the arrangements had been made and that Yanbai Company was responsible for receiving guests.
At nine o'clock in the morning, Zhang Chunjing called and said that he had entered the boundary of Ningjin County and asked us to meet in Shiji Town. During this period, President Sun Lihua and Sun Shengli (former deputy director of the Cultural Bureau, famous painter and photographer) also came to my unit to pick me up. Chairman Sun Lihua said that we should inform the town government first, so we went to the town government. At that time, I looked for Zhang Tao, the secretary of the party committee of Shiji Town, who was in a meeting at the time, and said that he would accompany us immediately after the meeting. Chairman Sun said that you were too busy to go, so the town sent Comrade Anping, a member of the party committee responsible for the organization, and Xiaoding, a docent, to go with him.
Before we went to Guo Gao Village, friends from Nanpi County had already arrived first. Guo Gao Village is 4 kilometers away from Shiji Town, and in less than 10 minutes we rushed to the memorial square, and we shook hands with Nanpi friends and said hello.
Among the five people they came to visit and inspect were Xing Jiaxun, former director of the Nanpi County People's Congress and member of the Chinese Book Association; Zhang Chunjing, vice president of the Cangzhou City Traditional Chinese Studies Research Association, executive president of the Nanpi County Traditional Chinese Studies Research Association, member of the Chinese Writers Association, and famous writer; Ma Yongsheng, president of the Cangzhou Taoist Association; Wang Shutong, a famous calligrapher and first person of Mao Ti in Cangzhou City; and Wang Zhiyou, a famous calligrapher and painter in Nanpi County.
Under the lintel of the "Guo Qingqing Memorial Hall" inscribed by Wang Meng, a native of Nanpi County, the former Minister of Culture and the People's Artist, people from the cultural circles of the two counties greeted each other and then walked into the exhibition hall to visit.
With a total area of 1,800 square meters, Guo Chengqing Memorial Hall is also the volunteer service practice base of the Ningjin County Red Scarf Propaganda Group. Guo Qingqing served as the principal of Ningjin County Middle School, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the county party committee, deputy secretary of the commune, editor-in-chief of Ningjin Bao, Ningjin Literature and Art, member of the party group of the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture, and vice chairman of the Shandong Branch of the China Writers Association, and created such popular short stories as "Mai Miao Returns to Youth", "Tea House Sister-in-law", "Commune Secretary", "Majiadian", "Black Treasurer", "Both Sides of the Fence", "Little Eight Generals", "Sister-in-law who Rushes to the Car", etc. In the 1970s, the villain book, radio commentary, and film "The Tale of the Great Knife" swept the country and were translated into many languages.
Under the colorful explanation of the narrator Xiaoding, the Nanpi delegation stopped from time to time to carefully look at the old photos, manuscripts, objects, celebrity inscriptions, historical archives, etc. on display, gave high praise to Mr. Guo Qingxing's literary achievements, and profoundly felt his spirit of adhering to his faith, being arduous and simple, going deep into the grassroots, connecting with the masses, and stubbornly fighting against diseases, and feeling the difficult years of the war of resistance that were bloody and rainy. At the same time, constructive suggestions were put forward for the further development and utilization of Guo Qingqing's former residence, hoping to enhance the influence and radiation of the education base and truly carry forward the spirit of "advocating morality, shangyi, firm faith, and striving to be strong" of the big knife.
After the visit, comrades from Ningjin County and Nanpi County took a group photo at the lintel that marked the contact between the two counties, and then drove to Ningjin County Yanbai Company. Xu Linsen, general manager of Yanbai Group, and Comrade Zhou Guoxun, director of the office, warmly received the guests, shook hands with friends from Cangzhou and Nanpi County, and all the calligraphers and painters appeared in the conference room on the fifth floor of Yanbai.
At noon at the Ningjin Hotel, Director Zhou Guoxun set up a banquet to entertain guests from Cangzhou and Nanpi, Cui Jinlai, former deputy governor of Ningjin County, and Guo Xiaohua, former director of the Food and Drug Bureau, were also invited to come from Dezhou to gather. In a warm and cheerful atmosphere, guests and hosts toasted and talked with each other, shared the infiltration of bilateral cultures, and praised two thousand-year-old cities: Wang Meng, a people's artist in Nanpi County, and Guo Qingqing, a famous writer in Ningjin County. Wang Meng's "Long Live Youth" and Guo Chengqing's "The Book of the Great Knife" were also selected into the "New China 70 Years and 70 Novels Collection".
The two counties have a deep history, the historical ownership has changed and alternated many times, the villages are intertwined, and the regional culture is the same, and they all earnestly hope that the two counties will strengthen more exchanges in the future and pass on the red culture.
