As early as the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian War, I analyzed the causes of the Russo-Ukrainian War. The immediate reason is that Ukraine wants to join NATO, which poses a threat to Russian security, and Russia has to fight this war. But the deeper cause was the collapse of the Soviet Union.
If Gorbachev had not carried out any new thinking reforms, the Soviet Union would still be the world's superpower that could compete with the United States. Even Gorbachev, who often appeared in the Ukrainian war, did not stand up and speak out, so why did these remnants shut up?
1. Reflection?
Just now we mentioned Gorbachev, Kravchuk and Kuchma, all of whom were politicians before and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and they were also well-known Internet celebrities at that time.
Take Gorbachev, for example, before the collapse of the Soviet Union, he was so beautiful that he traveled to and appeared on camera, talked and laughed with the leaders of the United States and Western countries, and acted like a guide to the world.
Seeing that the Soviet Union was about to collapse, Gorbachev had no sense of shame at all, and actually talked to Yeltsin about his retirement treatment, becoming the laughing stock of the world.
As the leader of Ukraine, Kravchuk was also a cadre trained under the Soviet system, but there was no belief at all, and he hooked up with the West to promote Ukrainian independence. He even conspired with Yeltsin, together with Russia and Belarus, to go to the woods and sign an agreement on the disintegration of the Soviet Union, which led to the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
Kuchma, Ukraine's second leader after the collapse of the Soviet Union, was once known as Ukraine's oligarch. Kuchma was a Cadre of the Soviet Period and had long served in the Southern Soviet Machinery Factory. This Southern Machinery Factory was the largest military-industrial enterprise of the Soviet era and was transferred to Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Kuchma was once the hope of Ukrainians, and even called Ukraine's "Yeltsin", but Kuchma chose people carelessly, he chose a group of young oligarchs and Western cultivation agents, laying hidden dangers for Ukraine.
Later, Kuchma was ousted by the Color Revolution launched by his American son-in-law Yushchenko, and Ukraine entered a cycle of chaos.
Now in the Russo-Ukrainian War, why don't Gorbachev, Kravchuk, and Kuchma stand up and speak out? What are they really busy with?
Now Gorbachev, Kravchuk, and Kuchma cannot stand up and speak out. If Gorbachev had spoken out, as the last pro-American president of the Soviet Union, he would have sided with Ukraine and accused Putin of invading Ukraine, then Gorbachev would have been denounced by the Russians.
It is even less likely that the Two Keku will stand up and speak out, when Klavchuk and Kuchma joined forces to abandon nuclear weapons, so that Ukraine lost its status as a nuclear power and could not confront Russia.

2. Fear?

In the face of casualties in the Russo-Ukrainian War, how does Gorbachev think? How do Kravchuk and Kuchma evaluate?

If Gorbachev stood up and criticized Russia, the United States would praise him. Did Gorbachev dare to do so?

Fast-digging man, Gorbachev did not dare to take risks.
Krafchuk and Kuchma, the two older brothers, did not have the courage to do so, and although Crawchuk stood up and said two words at the beginning of the war, he did not appear again after that. Because Ukraine's poor system is directly related to him, if Kravchuk had learned from Yeltsin and established a solid presidential system, even if it was worse, there would not have been a situation in which the president and the prime minister were fighting each other every day. If a country has high-level infighting, the country will inevitably be interfered with by external forces.
Kuchma wanted to change the Ukrainian system, but there were too many oligarchs at that time, and he was an oligarch himself. Failure to purge the oligarchs has led Ukraine to the mire of oligarchic participation, and when he is ready to embark on reforms, the American son-in-law will not give him a chance.

Judging from the data, Kuchma has not appeared, and Kravchuk has only flashed. They understand that Ukraine is responsible for the pain of today's war. Anti-Russian and pro-American is a dangerous option for Ukraine.
3. Helpless?
History is always weeding out some people, and Soviet remnants like Gorbachev will certainly leave a mark in history. Whether it is a negative evaluation or a positive one, history has long been determined.
At present, Putin has positioned Gorbachev in a middle position, which is already good. If Russia were to return to the Soviet Union in the future, Gorbachev would be in a very awkward position in history, or a very negative figure.
If Russia weakens, or Putin is ousted and Russia is overthrown and disintegrated by the West, then Gorbachev is a tall historical figure. But that's unlikely, because Russia has a strongman, Putin, whose political experience is unmatched. It's not tout Putin, a president who has been able for more than 20 years, and it's hard to achieve without a certain ability.
At this time, only when Gorbachev stands up to support Putin can he be more positive in his future historical positioning. But Gorbachev, as an agent of the United States, will not stand up for Russia's approach. Krafchuk and Kuchma can only be said to be passers-by in the history of the Soviet Union and Ukraine, and the political ability of the two is average, and Kuchma is stronger than Kravchuk. The two were dissatisfied with Zelenskiy's making Ukraine like this bear, but they could not evaluate it. Kuchma was generally pro-Russian, and the man who had given him the chief of staff had been arrested by Zelenskiy, and now the situation could only choose silence.
No matter how far the Russo-Ukrainian war is fought, it is still Russia and Ukraine, the remnants of the Soviet Union, and the Ukrainian politicians who are responsible for the losses, and they should reflect on what they have brought to the country and the nation.
