The Chinese officer sword, which appears in both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, is a 7th-century AD double-edged straight sword that dispenses Chinese officers. The sword was captured in large numbers during the war with the United States and became a souvenir for the Americans. The swords of some Chinese officers became weapons of American spies. After the war, such weapons were not common among both scavengers and marauders.
Chinese officers have a high frequency of sword attacks; they have good durability, and can attack about 1,000 times from intact to before they are broken. Without the use of V.A.T.S., the performance of the Chinese officer's sword is good. When running in third-person perspective with this sword in hand, the running animation is the same as In The Elder Scrolls IV. When using the Invisibility Kid or the Chinese Invisibility Suit, you can still see the blood on the sword.
