Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Senator Mushahid Hussein also went to the embassy and expressed their condolences.
The UN Security Council strongly condemns this attack and is willing to work with Pakistan and China to investigate who is behind it.

The van that was attacked was a 16-seatEr Toyota Sea Lion that had been completely burned down, leaving many circular craters on the body. A Pakistani counter-terrorism department (CTD) officer said it was an improvised explosive device made of bearing balls, steel and other materials, mixed with phosphorus.
Pakistani police released another video of the attackers' activities before the attack.
The video shows that on the afternoon of April 26, the attacker, Sally Baloch, set off from her rented Delhi Colonial Apartment and entered the University of Karachi from the Jubilee Gate in a rickshaw. At the time, there was a suspicious white vehicle driving in front of her rickshaw. Then she got out of the rickshaw and stood in the distance looking out. Another woman in a burqa who was already standing there approached her, exchanging something with her, and the woman handed her a bag and turned to leave. Investigators believe the bag should have something like a cell phone inside in order to get information about the target of the attack.
At 2:08 p.m., the attacked Toyota car entered the Confucius Institute, and Sally followed two steps, looked inside the car, and found that Huang Guiping, the director of the Confucius Institute at the time, was not in the car, so she did not have an detonation device.
It was not until later that Toyota came out with teachers such as Huang Guiping, Ding Mufang, Chen Sai, and Huang Yuqing, and when she passed by her, she detonated the device.

Police have arrested the driver of the rickshaw transporting Sally and the driver of the white suspicious vehicle. However, after interrogation, neither was involved in the case and had to be released.
CTD raided a house in Sally's father's house in Gullistan Johar. There, Sally's two children were found, who attended a nearby school.
CTD found that Sally had a total of 5 siblings. In the past, she used to go to her brother's house to meet her husband, Habtan Baloch, who often visited her. Before the attack, Habtan was staying in a nearby five-star hotel. Habtan has now been arrested. Authorities suspect Habtan was one of the masterminds of the attack, and even his share of previous attacks on the stock market was his part.
Investigators found that some of Sally's relatives were linked to the banned Baloch Student Organisation (BSO). They thought it was likely that Sally had joined BSO through her relatives.
Before the attack, Sally and Habtan celebrated their wedding anniversary together. In the video, they sing happily, laugh together, and scratch several balloons, and the atmosphere is very harmonious. Habtan was a burly, stout man. The Buddhist scriptures: "Born of the heart", it is not false at all, and their eyes always reveal a treacherous and evil.
In her last tweet, Sally said goodbye to her father, children, and friends and wanted them to be strong.
The investigative agency said her tweets were sent from abroad, and the IP and MAC addresses recovered from her tweets showed that her account was operated in a Western country, and that the handler also tried to disguise the location by using a VPN.
Her Twitter account only opened in November 2021. She wrote in a tweet: "The land tells me to love and resist. "There is no video of her life on twitter, but there are many video clips of her life on Twitter.
She received her Master of Zoology from the University of Balochistan in 2014 and a Master of Education from the Open University of Alhama Iqbal in 2018, and has since worked as a science teacher at a public school in Tybat. But in the six months leading up to the incident, she hadn't been to class. District education officials have sent her notice, but she has not responded.
Information indicates that she joined the Balochistan Student Organisation (BSO) before joining the Majid Brigades.
After the incident, Karachi police raided several locations and arrested at least 7 people. They found SIM cards belonging to Companies in Pakistan and India, which indicated that there were foreign elements involved.
