In the spring, idly reading miscellaneous books, I saw that a "two-way dealer" recommended a poem from the clever "Pipa Book":
The ironclad general crossed the pass at night, and the courtiers waited to leak five more cold. The mountain temple has not risen to the top of the day, and it is better to calculate fame and fortune than to be idle.
This man was probably tired and envious of the mountain monks in the ancient poems. It may be nice to envy the leisure of the monks, but why compare the future of the courtiers? This is a bit of a diaphragm - in the special period when the people of the whole country are strictly fighting the epidemic, this feeling of mine is very strong and natural.
Those courtiers will endure hardships and hardships, but also strive to move forward, do not dare to slacken off, what are they for? Is it just for fame and fortune? Of course not. Regardless of whether the ideals and ambitions are illusory or not, it is an obvious fact that the feudal society of thousands of years is like a big family passed down from generation to generation, and who has been hard to maintain it? It won't always be the idle monks, right?
A simple sentence is: without the hardships of the courtiers and generals, there is the leisure of the senior monks of the mountain temple! Isn't that the case?
With my current intuition, I feel that this poem is a bit of a "cold word" - why should someone be tired and tired for the country and the people, and someone should live far away in the mountains to enjoy leisure? Just like in many places now, some people fight day and night on the front line of the fight against the epidemic to protect everyone's safety, some people enjoy a safe and isolated life, and they are still bored and panicked to vent their emotions on the Internet to influence public opinion.
So don't think that I am drilling the tip of the bull's horn, not understanding the elegance of ancient poetry. In fact, what I want to talk about is a common disease in human nature since ancient times, called "getting cheap and selling well." Everyone understands the simple meaning of this sentence, but it has been difficult to correct the cognition of unintentional "ignorance of conscience".
2. "Kik Song" is very childish
For example, there is an older pre-Qin folk song, "Kik Song":
Work at sunrise, breathe in and out of the day, sink wells and drink, plough fields and eat. Dili and I have nothing to do!
Like the poem above, this ballad also expresses envy for the natural and comfortable life outside the officialdom, where people do not have much desire. The difference is that there are self-supporting civilians here, and there is no group of monks in society who depend on the world to provide for them.
But the question is similar: Are the chief monarchs, represented by Shun, Yu, etc., superfluous to the commoners? Without the unified management under "Dili" and a large number of organized maintenance of public order, division of labor and cooperation, such as projects such as Dayu Zhishui and Zhou Gong advocating agriculture, can the commoners "work at sunrise, breathe in and breathe, sink wells and drink, and cultivate fields and eat"? Obviously hard and hard.
Although this song is simple, it commits the childish disease of life practice, because it is dissatisfied with the oppression of the ruling class, and it completely negates the contribution and role of the superstructure.
In today's parlance, living on such a primitive way of working as "Kik", will there still be meat to eat, clothing, a house, a car and a wife?
3, the story of Su Shi and Buddha Seal is very bloody
Su Shi and the Buddha Seal, just one official and one monk, all kinds of Buddhist stories about the two of them have been circulated in the folk, and the competition between them is often won by the Buddha seal, such as "Su Shi said that the Buddha seal is like a lump of cow dung, the Buddha seal said that Su Shi is like a Buddha, Su Shi listened to it and was complacent."
These stories are all made up by the people, and I can see the attitude of the people from them, and I recognize monks rather than officials, even people with great personality and charm like Su Shi.
But in fact? Su Shi's life has really created a lot of blessings for the people in many parts of the country, and he is the real "Buddha", not the monk who is good at empty talk.
Those who make up stories, and those who are willing to foolishly believe such stories, probably don't know the true face of the Buddha, right?
4, contempt for entering the world, in fact, is a deformed psychology
Of the four great works of China, three of them explicitly despise the entry of officials, with the exception of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Once I read that Before his death, Tai Shi Ci shouted, "The eldest husband was born in a chaotic world, and when he carried a three-foot sword, he was immortal; now that his ambitions have failed, why should he die!" "Really straight hair, suddenly indignant. There are many times like this in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and what I read is more like the author Luo Guanzhong's ambition is not willing to pay.
The other three: Jia Baoyu in the Grand View Garden, while enjoying the life of Yihong Gongzi, while scolding the male servants and female stewards, the most is a "cheap and well-behaved" goods. Of the many good men in "Water Margin", few are not lawless, while killing, robbing and cheating bad things, while also cursing the world for being unkind. "Journey to the West" is even more incredible, while holding up the Buddhist gods and immortals who are not engaged in productive labor, while treating the parents and common people who offer them food and clothing as grass and mustard, always trembling in front of the gods and monsters, there is no equality and dignity to speak of.
This reflects the mentality of most of the ancient (fallen) literati, who, while scorning the court and hating the world, at the same time demeaning the people engaged in labor production, the mentality of "having to sell cheaply" is reflected in their works, although this may be something they do not want to admit.
5. Conclusion

"Deeds speak louder than words", everyone who works hard for life and career is respectable, which is also the most important criterion for us to speak with conscience according to the original relationship of things.
