In 1857, Jules Senard opened the winery's Monopole, the 2.5-hectare Clos Des Meix (a plot of Corton Grand Cru), and subsequently acquired several Grand Cru. Philippe Senard took over the winery in 1971 and in order to give the wines excellent ageing potential, he began to use methods of winemaking such as cold-soaking and temperature-controlled fermentation from 1988. Since 2005, Philip's daughter, Lorraine Senard, has been following him in making wines, and her winemaking philosophy has been deeply influenced by the family, working to produce Colden's characteristic wines with "deep ruby red, red fruit aromas, exquisite and strong taste".

Today, Château Dessé Conna owns plots in several Grand and Premier Crus, such as corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru and Corton Clos Du Roi, Corton Bressandes and Corton Les Paulands in Corden Grand Park. The winery believes that excellent wines come from excellent grapes, so they manage the vineyard with respect for the natural growth patterns and growing environment of the grapes, and insist on cultivating the vines in a sustainable way, without the use of herbicides and pesticides.

Les Valozieres, where the wine is produced, is a highly anticipated first-class garden in the Aroques-Korden appellation, with similar terroirs right next to Roy and Bilson gardens in the Korden Grand Prix. Facing southeast, the garden is sunny during the day and cool at night, allowing the grapes to maintain a balanced acidity while reaching their ideal ripeness. The poor soil in the garden allows the vines to develop their reached root system, which draws more nutrients and water. In addition, the soil is rich in iron, and the grape fruit can give the wine a rich taste, excellent structure and mineral flavor.

For Burgundy, 2013 was a challenging year with a long growing season. Wet and cold weather is the main theme of spring, in May the rainfall is twice that of previous years, the growth cycle of the vines is postponed, and the weather is still wet and cold in June, the flowering period is affected, and the grape production is reduced. The weather improved in July, but hail on July 23 damaged some of Bernchu's vineyards. August was hot and humid, and September was cool, and the harvest season didn't officially begin until October. The resulting Waze Garden red wine is infused with aromas of red fruit and black fruit, accompanied by hints of licorice and spices, perfect balance of tannins and acidity, and a delicate style suitable for pairing with roast beef, cheese and spicy foods.
