The ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, a leisurely context. Since ancient times, Nanjing has occupied an important position in the history of the development of Chinese calligraphy and painting art. In order to further promote traditional culture, enhance regional brand characteristics, and create the city image of Nanjing, the capital of literature and the city of art, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Youth League, the "Spring Rain Runmo" Young Artist Invitation Exhibition, jointly sponsored by Pukou Cultural Tourism Group and Pukou Youth League District Committee, undertaken by qiuyushan Cultural Celebrity Memorial Hall, and implemented by the "Pin Yi Nanjing" art platform, officially opened the exhibition today.

The exhibition officially opened on April 29 and will run until May 15. Although the opening ceremony could not be held due to the impact of the epidemic and was changed to an online live broadcast, it still received widespread attention and affirmation from leaders at all levels, well-known artists and the majority of art lovers. In this exhibition, the School of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University and the Jiangsu Young Artists Association have given high attention and academic support, ensuring the professionalism and academic nature of the exhibition.

The "Yushan Yaji" activity specially invited Mr. Yan Gongda, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and professor of Tsinghua University, to write an inscription, professor Yan expressed great appreciation for this activity, believing that such activities can encourage the majority of calligraphy and painting art workers, including social calligraphy and painting art lovers, to walk into nanjing Qiuyushan Cultural Park and truly get the artistic harvest of spring.

The curator of this exhibition, Xu Jie, who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University and the first undergraduate degree in calligraphy in China, wrote the title of the "Spring Rain Runmo" exhibition, and his professional curatorial ability and majestic calligraphy style have also been praised by everyone.

In this exhibition, the "Pin Yi Nanjing" art platform invited more than 50 outstanding young artists who studied, worked and lived in Nanjing to create more than 60 calligraphy and painting works with the theme of "Struggling Youth". The group of participating artists, spanning the post-70s to post-00s, are all graduated or studied in colleges and universities, including full-time painters from the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting, members of the Sino-American Association, members of the Chinese Book Association, and masters and doctors who are still studying in colleges and universities.
The exhibited works are diverse, including Chinese painting, calligraphy and seal engraving, which not only inherit traditional culture, but also have the perfect expression of inheriting and innovating personal language. "Pin Yi Nanjing" hopes that through the "Pin Yi Youth 100" activity and this exhibition, it will focus on displaying the overall creative strength and latest creative achievements of the Nanjing young artist group at this stage, at the same time, "Pin Yi Nanjing" hopes to do more cross-border integration for the creation of young artists, care about supporting the professional creation and development of young artists, across tradition and contemporary, and empower the growth of young artists.
