Three frequently asked questions
01 What should I pay attention to when using electronic products?
Watch out for the light!
The screen of electronic products should not be too bright or too dark, and it is appropriate to adjust it to the comfort of the eyes.
If the light is low, the room top light and the table lamp should be turned on at the same time to provide a moderate background light, so that the ambient brightness is slightly weaker than the brightness of the electronic device screen.
Avoid directly irritating the eye with a background light source or directly hitting the screen to cause reflections. If you are attending classes by a window with strong external light, you should have the screen facing away from the window.
02 Do I need to prepare a pair of blue light glasses?
No! need! want!
It is widely believed that the short-wavelength blue light emitted by the LCD screens of computers, mobile phones, tablets and other devices will damage the eyes. In fact, the blue light intensity of qualified electronic devices is low, and there is no evidence to show that it is related to eye fatigue and eye diseases.
We usually feel tired and dry eyes after using electronic products, which is caused by long-term use of the eyes, a decrease in the frequency of blinking, and insufficient wetting of tears.
Therefore, anti-blue light glasses are not a necessity, and the yellow coating of the lenses will also interfere with the perception of color, and it is not recommended for children and adolescents to use them daily.
Electronics should be minimized, intermittent breaks, and conscious blinking should be minimized.
03 Can I give eye drops when my eyes are tired?
Don't rush to use it!
Try washing your face with water or relieve it with the eye-care movements described above. If it can be relieved, eye drops are not recommended to avoid eye dependence on eye drops.
If the symptoms of dryness and eye pain are more obvious and cannot be relieved by eye protection, artificial tear fluid can be used. Pay attention to the selection of artificial tears without preservatives. When severe dry eye symptoms occur, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment.
Daily attention to conditioning, combining work and leisure, avoid staying up late. Drink more water, eat more fruits and foods containing antioxidants such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, etc., such as milk, eggs, carotene, soybeans, millet, etc.
