About her
Wang Lingjie, an assistant procurator in the Sixth Procuratorial Department of the Huangyan District People's Procuratorate, is also a member of the Little Orange Lantern Studio.
After graduating from university, she entered the Huangyan Procuratorate, where her main job was to handle cases involving minors and carry out legal popularization actions for juveniles in schools under the rule of law.
In the past six years of work, she has felt the meaning and value of this job in various cases: as a procuratorial policeman, handling every case well is the most basic and important thing.
"For me, handling is a case, but for the parties involved, it is their lives. I saw that through my help and education, juveniles involved in crimes successfully returned to their families and society and started a new life, and some minors were admitted to college, completed their studies, and realized their dreams. ”
About work
Talking about the most direct impact of her work on her, she said that it was a change in mentality: when handling cases at the beginning, it was too easy to empathize, on the one hand, to sympathize with the suffering of minor victims, on the other hand, to understand the family situation and growth experience of juveniles involved in crimes, and to feel sorry for them for violating the law because of their weak legal awareness. Gradually, as the number of cases handled increases, I feel that I have gradually become rational and peaceful, and I can think rationally, consider scientifically, and make prudent decisions in handling cases.

For the future, she hopes to continuously improve her ability to better protect the legitimate rights and interests of minors, because "the law is not a cold face, it has a temperature, and we must strive to let the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case."
