Sundate International has officially launched the first hull of its new Sundate 100 series. The 29.8-meter superyacht was launched at the shipyard's facility in Poole Harbour and is now preparing for sea trials before delivery to the Mediterranean this summer.
The shipyard said the new ship type is defined by a wrap-around flybridge connecting the top deck and the foredeck lounge, marking the beginning of a "new era" in the design of the Sunshiel Flybridge. In fact, the flybridge and the foredeck "platform" are on the same level. The company wants to make the Sunshiel 100 yacht the flagship of its yacht range, introducing more convenient walking access from bow to stern.
The yacht is built of fiberglass, with an internal volume of 125GT and a width of 6.9 meters. Four of the yachts have been sold and the second hull is nearing completion. The shipyard added: "The bold shape remains faithful to the lineage of the Holy Tide, but with a new three-dimensional aesthetic."
Rendering
With customers spending so much time outdoors, the Flybridge of The Sunshio 100 naturally revolves around entertainment. The foredeck has two separate seating arrangements with cinema screens, while the central flybridge has L-shaped sofas, a fully equipped wet bar and space for separate furniture or Jacuzzi. Flybridges can be customized to equip them with optional helm stations, spacious seats and a bar counter. There is also space for a jacuzzi or extra sun loungers.
Accommodation on board can accommodate up to eight guests and includes a full-width master suite with ensuite, walk-in closet and office, as well as a large lobby located in front of the main deck.
Thanks to the oversized glass windows, the boat owner's suite is illuminated by natural light, while the owner also has access to the foredeck terrace through all-glass sliding doors facing forward. The shipyard said the interior design "exudes a vast space and light".
The main deck salon is described as "loft style" and "elegant interior". "The mixed feel of the interior furniture and fabric is timeless, with a modern feel that exudes a stylish simplicity and exquisite beauty."
The main deck also features a formal dining area for eight guests and a large kitchen with direct side deck access for the crew. The front crew quarters are accessible via the galley. There are a total of four crew members on board, including a dedicated captain's cabin.
At the same time, the Sunshik 100 also installed the shipyard's own X-TEND sunbeds above the boat garage/beach club. These sunbeds stretch out into different shapes. For example, they can tilt upwards, facing the swimming platform, or tilt upwards, facing the aft deck.
The aft annex garage can be transformed into a "big and luxurious" beach club with built-in grills and showers. The garage is large enough to accommodate williams 460 sport jet boats, GTX255 jet boats and Seabobs.

Power will come from the standard MTU 12V 2000 M96X or the optional MTU 16V 2000 M96L engine with a top speed of 29 knots and a range of 1,300 nautical miles at 12 knots.
