In less than two months, the arsenals of Western countries have been in a hurry, and most of the weapons and ammunition have been sent to the hands of the Ukrainian army, but they still cannot catch up with the rate of consumption. Although the battle is fierce, the consumption is far from so terrible, and the reason for this is that the weapons are not only used by the Ukrainian army.
The Russian army, the Chechen army and the east Ukrainian civilian armed forces have captured a large number of Western weapons in the battle, and recently the Russian army has occupied a large ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army, which has thousands of tons of ammunition, from rockets, missiles, anti-tank bombs, all western weapons. It is understood that this large ammunition depot is located in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, covering an area of hundreds of square meters, with a considerable internal capacity, and if it is filled with a total inventory of tens of thousands of tons. And even if it is thousands of tons, the Russian army has "made a fortune" again, and now the War of Donbass has begun, and it is the time when ammunition is needed.
But before the Ukrainian army withdrew, why didn't they take away these ammunition and blow them up, but instead cheapened the Russian army in vain? It is clear that it is not worried that the explosion will affect civilians, because it is precisely with these weapons and ammunition that it attacks its own civilians, and the biggest reason why it abandons them is that it does not care. Although this arsenal has thousands of tons of ammunition, it is not worth mentioning compared with NATO's assistance, even if the Large Ammunition Depot of the Ukrainian Army is occupied by the Russian Army, thousands of tons of ammunition are also captured, but then NATO's assistance will be immediately replenished.
For the Ukrainian army, there is no loss at all, so it will not bother to blow up, and if NATO countries know that these weapons have been abandoned by the Ukrainian army, I don't know what kind of expression it will be? But this is not the most exaggerated, the Ukrainian army not only gave it up at will, but also sold it to the Russian coalition, the new "Javelin" missile 35,000 US dollars on sale, to know a set of "Javelin", the US military's internal purchase price to 130,000 yuan, 35,000 US dollars is simply a cheap sale. And the weapons were either abandoned, captured, or sold, it is no wonder that the ammunition consumption of the Ukrainian army is so huge that several countries cannot supply it.
In this regard, it can only be said that NATO "does its own thing", after all, its purpose of providing weapons for the Ukrainian army is not simple, so in order to continue to oppose the Russian army, even if it knows that the weapons have been wasted, it can only continue to assist. In this way, NATO will become a "transport brigade leader", and the Russian army will also have the opportunity to use all kinds of advanced weapons in the West, and more importantly, these weapons may only be fully effective in the hands of the Russian army, but the Ukrainian army is only "unable to support the Adou".
