Hello everyone, I'm updating again.
I thought about writing it again in a month, but I couldn't bear it, so I started writing anyway.
Many friends left messages in the background of the public account to ask me what is the significance of writing these crimes, or just to cater to the tastes of the public. I think I'll also formalize it: writing about crime is a kind of relaxation for myself, and while writing, I can feel the logical sorting process of "this person has experienced this, and with this kind of thinking will do such a yes..." - I believe that many people will get a great sense of satisfaction from sorting out the logic of a thing. On the other hand, in the crime case, I will highlight some of the perpetrator's family, educational background, and some of his growing up, so that whether it is for readers who have become parents, or friends who have encountered some setbacks in their lives, I hope that they can play some reference role, and do not easily embark on the road of no return to retaliate against society and hurt others.
Maybe in this way, we can face the darkness and not fall into the vortex of chaos?

The Gotemba incident, this is not a case of hunting or cruel murder. Although the suspect was charged with "gang rape", the "gang rape" in this incident did not even appear to have occurred. And whether the victim of the gang rape case is the girl who claims to have been atrocious, or the teenagers who have been sent to prison, in this article, I hope that everyone can think for themselves.
But this sentence must be said in the front: the facts of this case are all from the statements of the parties. As for which party is guilty and is lying, please judge for yourself.
======================
At 11:40 p.m. on September 16, 2001, in Gotemba, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, a 15-year-old female high school student named Inoue Sayuri sneaked into the house and saw the face of her angry mother.
"Where did you go at this late hour?" Don't call home?"
"I went to play with my classmates."
"Don't lie to me, the friends who went out with you have already gone home." Where the hell have you been?"
After the mother asked this sentence, the girl suddenly began to cry. Under the questioning of her mother, Inoue Saiduri told the truth:
In the afternoon, the school organized a basketball tournament in the neighboring city of Machida, and Kobetsu, one of the members of the basketball department, also participated in the game. After the end, Sayuri took the bus back to Gotemba City, which was 7:55 p.m. Stepping out of the station, Sayuri suddenly meets her junior high school classmate Ken'er Hirata.
Hirata was a year older than Yuri, not very tall, with unkempt curly hair and scattered freckles on her face, and at first glance she knew that she was a naughty but unsavory child in the class. He saw Xiao Lily walk out of the station, so he went up and said hello: "Xiao Bai Contract Study, remember me?"

Next to Hirata stood another boy of similar age. Without a second word, Hirata suddenly grabbed Yuri's hand and said, "Let's find a place to talk," and couldn't help but say that she was pulling Yuri to leave. Yuri hurriedly said, "If you come home late, my mother will have to worry" and tries to find an excuse to walk away, but Hirata tells her, "Just call and tell your mother that the train is delayed?" Just then, the boy who was standing next to Hirata suddenly came to Sayuri's side and blocked her way out. There was no way out, Anduri had to call her mother's mobile phone, falsely claiming that the tram was delayed, and then she was pulled by Hirata and approached the shopping street in front of the station.
===========
In the bustling shopping street on weekdays, because the time is past 8 p.m., there are not many people. When Sayuri and Hirata passed by the karaoke shop, they suddenly stepped out of the parking lot and saw 4 people, almost 18-19 years old. After they said hello to Hirata, they began to walk behind Xiao Lily, laughing and joking from time to time. A few tens of meters further ahead, from the open space in front of a building, 4 people walked by, looking less than 20 years old. After they had also greeted the group, they blocked in front of Lily, looking at Lily with their eyes from time to time as they walked.
Surrounded by ten people like this, Lily instinctively sensed danger. Although she wanted to shout for help at this time, because she had slowly walked out of the shopping street, the pedestrians around her could hardly be seen. She had no choice but to be surrounded by this group and walked to "Gotemba City Central Park", 200 meters away from the station.
Central Park, although the name sounds big, is not very large because Gotemba City is only a small town with a population of less than 80,000 people. And because it is located in the center of Gotemba, it is surrounded by residences. Lily and the group of teenagers walked to the fountain in Central Park, and everyone sat down on the bench, and a few boys came together to chat with Lily. It was already 8:20 p.m.
Because most of the people around her did not know her, Inoue Wasouchi was nervous and buried her head low. And these ten teenagers are actually bad teenagers who often haunt the neighborhood. They asked, "Where do you go to school?" "Do you have a boyfriend?" These topics, while from time to time reached out and fiddled with The little lily's hair. So there was a pair of chats for an hour, and the tall boy who took the lead suddenly said:
"Don't talk nonsense, get on her."
The people around them also jumped up, and several people grabbed Lily's arms and collar, and almost dragged her to a small pavilion on a small hill in the park. The small pavilion has no walls on all sides, only a roof for shelter from the rain.
The bad boys dragged Lily to the lawn next to the pavilion, pushed her down from behind, and then turned her over and faced the sky. Several people pressed Lily's hands and feet separately, making it impossible for her to struggle. The boy in the lead came up and took off Lily's pants, only to find her wearing a sanitary napkin, seemingly full of regret and saying, "She's here for menstruation, I can't do it", and then he put his hand to Lily's lower body and touched it. He sat on Lily, unbuttoned Lily's blouse, and laughed as he molested her, and after about 5-6 minutes, he changed the next person. In this way, this group of bad boys took turns ravaging Lily for almost an hour. Finally, they looked at Lily, who was slowly getting dressed while crying, and said to her:
"If you dare to tell your parents or call the police, we will not spare you!"
After Getting dressed, Lily hurriedly escaped from the park, and the group did not chase after her, but just walked slowly while talking and laughing loudly in the back. On the way, Xiao Lily hid in a convenience store, washed the dirt off her body in the toilet, and quietly returned home. This is what we see at the beginning.
The next morning, Lily's mother took her to the local police station to report the crime.
=================
On November 26, 2001, more than two months after the incident, two officers from the Gotemba City Police Station came to Kena Hirata's home and took Kena Hirata back to the police station for interrogation. When the policeman asked Hirata, "Do you know Sayuri Inoue and have you met her recently?", Hirata replied, "I was a junior high school classmate, but not from the same class." I can't remember what it looks like." At this time, the police took out the Criminal Law and patted the book cover and said to Hirata:
"If you don't confess, it's not as simple as a sentence of 1 year." If you honestly confess your guilt, you can still go lightly, and maybe you may be released in court."
Hirata was intimidated by the police interrogation and directly confessed to the police's allegations of his involvement in the molestation of Lily and the attempted gang rape. When the police hit the iron while it was hot and asked him to explain who he had been playing with recently and what they had done, Hirata said the names of several of his friends who he usually wanted to be good.
At this time, the police took out the graduation photo of Hirata's junior high school and asked him to point out the people he had just said, so Hirata followed the police's meaning and identified his friends who usually had good relations one by one, which probably pointed out the names and appearances of more than 30 people. Based on hirata's list, the police selected ten teenagers aged 15-17 and plotted to arrest them on charges of indecent assault and attempted gang rape, respectively. The boys on the list are:
Yuji Kawai (then sophomore in high school), Takashi Katsumata (then sophomore year), Satota Horiuchi (then sophomore in high school), Katsuyoshi Nobuhito (then sophomore in high school), Ken'er Hirata (senior one). In addition, 4 high school students and 1 junior high school student at that time were arrested for participating in indecent activities. There are 10 in total, which matches the narrative of Inoue Sayuri.
Two months later, on January 24, 2002, a police car stopped in front of Yuji Kawai's house. The police took Yuji Kawai back to the police station and then began interrogation.
The question posed by the police was "tell me what you did with Hirata", and Kawai admitted that he often went bowling with Hirata, but there was no unusual behavior other than that. The police questioning of Kawai lasted 20 hours, but Kawai never mentioned anything related to Sayuri. Seeing that Kawai did not say a word about the case, the police officer in charge of interrogating him took out the calendar for 2001, pointed to the day of September 16, and said to Kawai, "Remember what you did on this day." Confused, Kawai, seeing that the day was Sunday, remembered that since he was in high school, he would go to a factory every Saturday and Sunday to work, so he explained the situation to the police, and in order to prove his innocence, asked the police to go to the factory to get his punch card records. In this way, the police left Kawai alone in the interrogation room and left the room. A few hours later, Kawai was interrogated again, and what was displayed before him was not a clock-in record at the factory, but a formal arrest warrant:
"Yuji Kawai, on September 16, 2013, from 9:50 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., together with 10 accomplices, committed an attempted rape because the other party was on a regular holiday. You are now formally arrested on suspicion of attempted rape."
After reading the arrest warrant, the police handcuffed Kawai.
For three consecutive days after his formal arrest, Kawai denied allegations of attempted rape. At his request, the police went to the factory where he worked to retrieve the September 16, 2001 clock-in record, which showed him going to work at 1:47 p.m. and leaving at 8:24 p.m. According to Inoue's testimony, she should have met Kawai before 8:20 that day, and the distance from the park at Kawai's factory was about 3 kilometers, and his walk to the park was about 40 minutes, obviously much later than 8:20. However, the police believe that if Kawai rides his bicycle to the park, he will be able to arrive around 8:35, and there is no big discrepancy with Sayuri's testimony.
As for the trial, the police said to Kawai: "If you confess guilt now, then the trial will be direct, at most you will be sentenced to a year and a half, and you can be released on bail." If you're going to resist to the end, then not only will you have to ask for a lawyer's money, but the trial may last for several years, can you afford it?"
Kawai grew up in a single-parent family. In the fifth grade of elementary school, his parents divorced because of domestic violence, and he has been living with his mother ever since. In order not to put too much financial pressure on his mother, Kawai made a decision: confess guilt.
After Kawai confessed guilt, the police arrested all nine of the remaining accomplices in one fell swoop, including Ken'er Hirata, who was initially investigated.
On March 8, 2002, the case of Inoue Sayuri, who attempted rape by Kawai et al., was heard at the Shizuoka Prefectural Civil Court. Because none of the people involved was under the age of 20, the case was heard by the Civil Court. In court, all 10 defendants overturned their previous confessions and denied involvement in the case.
We'll talk about the specific reasons next time.
