Really, the decoration xiaobai must do more homework before starting to work.
The first house I installed, I found workers to renovate it, and now the pit in the living room is so much that it explodes. What makes me most sad is the movie experience, at the beginning I just wanted to install a TV, so there was no reserved line for the projection (including wires, HDMI high-definition cables, audio lines, network cables), which led to the later decision to install projections, only in the ceiling opening hole connected to an outlet will be used, let alone an external high-definition player or stereo...
It's a strange experience now, although I have a 100-inch screen and the visuals satisfy me, but the sound performance is really uncomfortable. Because I can only use the speakers that come with the projection, the effect itself is very general, plus every time I watch TV, the sound is coming out from the beginning, which always feels weird... Not only do I feel this way myself, but my relatives and friends have said the same thing when they come to my house.
So the echo wall must be arranged, but I have been worried that my no wired solution, only using Bluetooth connection, will there be a problem of sound delay. Finally chose JBL's CINEMA STV J100 Echo Wall, because this is a Bluetooth 5.1 product, the delay should be more secure, and the appearance is just long in my aesthetic, decided to try it.
After the arrival of the goods, this packaging is also simple and direct, which is a very slender carton packaging. Accessories are also a bit rich, including the HDMI cable used for connection, coaxial audio cable, expansion bolts and pylons for wall mounts, and a remote control.
I also said before that I chose this JBL CINEMA STV J100, and one factor is that its appearance I like it more, and I love this simple, no superfluous design. The entire use of black shell, but also relatively long, the overall length of more than a meter (1015mm). Then I did a more rounded treatment, so it doesn't look abrupt at home.
My TV cabinet chose a black rock slab countertop, and after putting this echo wall on it, it really felt very coordinated. And because of this echo wall, I've moved all the routers that were on the TV cabinet because it's better.
This product is a commemorative edition of JBL's 75th anniversary, so you can see a 75th anniversary logo on the left side of the front of the fuselage, which feels quite compelling. Generally speaking, the products of this commemorative edition will be more attentive as a whole.
The back of the fuselage can see a very rich connection interface, this echo wall supports optical fiber, 3.5mm audio interface, HDMI and other wired transmission, but I can't use it for the time being, my home forgot to project the reserved cable, can only choose bluetooth 5.1 wireless connection. But this is also good, the whole TV cabinet can not see a little line, because the power cord itself is also very well hidden.
After plugging in the power supply, there will be a hidden LED indicator on the right side of the fuselage, the shutdown state is red, and then we turn on the system through the remote control or the physical button on the side of the fuselage. In different connection states, the indicator light will also show different colors, like the Bluetooth I use, it is blue. The connection is also very convenient, only need to be paired with the projection for the first time, and then the subsequent boot will be automatically connected.
Because I was most worried about the delay of Bluetooth transmission before, I was particularly concerned when I used it. But I found that it is indeed me who is worried, the delay of Bluetooth 5.1 is indeed very small, it can be said that I can't feel it at all... When watching videos and listening to music, there is no delay at all. Alas, here I have a little emotion, really grateful for the development of wireless technology now, so that the big pit left by my hard installation has the opportunity to fill.
JBL CINEMA STV J100 is a dual-channel stereo output, built-in two full-band speakers, the overall output power of 48 watts, so the sound quality performance is not bad. It can be said that even if it is connected via Bluetooth, it can be clearly felt, better than the speakers of all the TVs I have seen before. Of course, for the speaker that came with the projector before my home, haha, it can be described as "hanging". So I was really satisfied.
If you are more ambitious about sound quality, I have also watched, JBL also has a more comprehensive choice, allowing you to immerse yourself in surround sound, is the price... It is also more realistic, I can't get on it for the time being. This J100 has greatly improved the movie-going sound experience in our home.
Before I downloaded the HD version of "Spider-Man", I have not been willing to watch, after all, watching this kind of blockbuster must have a pursuit, so I installed JBL CINEMA STV J100 to watch. Really, all kinds of fight scenes, all kinds of sound effects, can be presented in a very three-dimensional way, really amazing.
Then I tried to play Jay Chou's concert video with a projection at home, which was even cooler. I just wanted to feel the complex and passionate sound environment of the scene, and it was clear that the 48W dual speakers of the JBL CINEMA STV J100 could do it.
In fact, this echo wall has built-in three modes, namely music mode, movie mode and news mode, I generally switch between music mode and movie mode. At the same time, JBL CINEMA STV J100 also has a more unique function, and the perception is quite obvious, that is, it has a dynamic DRC adjustment function. Because today's smart TV users will often switch content on various platforms or channels, there will often be a sudden phenomenon that there is a channel or content with a loud voice, which is easy to scare you. This feature allows the sound pressure balance to be maintained during use, making the sound a smooth transition.
The overall use of down, I think indeed very satisfied, at that time is to take advantage of the activity, the price can also be accepted. It also helped me fill a big hole, and the overall audiovisual experience improved significantly. However, I still recommend that if you have not yet renovated, if you want to hoist the projection, remember to reserve the audio line HDMI hd line. If you are decorated and are not satisfied with the sound effects that come with your TV or projection, you can also spend a little money like me to upgrade it, it is worth the money, and you will certainly not regret it.
