The project is part of a simple plan that completes the framework of a new public plaza designed to unite the community. Its façade aligns friendly with the front of the adjacent street to emphasize the shape of this huge collective space, which combines a spacious mineral shopping mall with an intimate garden. The building's origins come from the prototype form of a brick warehouse adjacent to the pier. This urban landscape, with its double-sloped roof battlements, is undeniable with the legacy le Havre that makes it a familiar vector of happiness. The project recreates their side, perpetuating their almost melancholy symbol, an era of prosperity and peace. It also pays homage to the simple beauty of their large volumes by attributing their efficiency to the moving spaces.

Contemporary architecture, shaped with an image firmly fixed to the ground, is however being reorganized to accommodate its new function. First, its mass is lifted, as if by a feat that the public space slides into the heart of action. Secondly, its materiality responds to the traditional equipment of matte clay bricks, and its surface is made of brushed stainless steel plates, which are full of vitality. Finally, contemporary architecture responds to the heaviness of its model, with a "transparent thickness" capable of revealing literally and figuratively the activities it embraces. Therefore, the project was implemented in a dual look. He asserts an immutable and powerful urban existence, while dressing himself up in a sensitive landscape that is activated by the pictorial reflections of his environment, especially the public gardens. The interior building echoes the exterior envelope in a more domestic register.

It employs a clear theme that diffuses a lot of light through flowing spaces that look like they are painted with white powder. This peaceful general atmosphere of wooden structures, in fact, adds a sense of well-being, stemming from the actions of its creatures. The biggest beneficiary is the large stadium, which has a completely wooden suspended vault with intricate geometry. From these concerns about the city, to the place, to the inhabitants, to its uses, architecture has become a sensitive interpreter of this unique building.
