In the whole "Treatise on Typhoid Fever", there are two kinds of conditions in the void, one is abdominal pain, that is, Xiao Jianzhong soup; and the other is hot licorice soup.

If the heat is not enough, the peristalsis is gone, and the heat that originally exists in the stomach goes up, and this heat is originally in the stomach's jin liquid.
Because the dryness of the stomach goes up, the lungs will also follow the dryness, so the mood will be bad, the lungs and the large intestine are in the table, so I know that the person's stool must not be good.
It is not constipation, but the stool is not very good, to scorch the stool is good, the source must be moisturized, otherwise the lungs are too hot, hot to the later will not have stool, so jia Mai Men Dong, Mai Men Dong is specially to moisten the lungs, so that the humidity inside the lungs is enough.
Then add hemp seeds, because he is not constipated, there is food in the intestines, although the intestines are walking, but it is too slow.
If you use rhubarb and glauber's salt and are too strong, so use hemp seeds to slowly clear out the intestines, and the kernels of traditional Chinese medicine, such as almonds and plum kernels, are more oily and can be lubricated.
Originally, the blood was not enough, plus raw land, ejiao, specially replenished blood. At this time, if you rely on licorice, ginseng, dates, ginger, and then eat food to make up for it is too slow.
So add the blood tonic medicine to it, let it enter the heart, so reuse the laurel branch. These nine herbs add up to a hot licorice soup, and the reuse of hot licorice to make the chest strong.
So the licorice soup recipe is composed:
Licorice, ginger, cinnamon stick, ginseng, raw ground yellow, ejiao, mai mendong, hemp seed, jujube and so on.

If yin and yang are divided into two, then jin is yang and liquid is yin. When there is a shortage of jin, we use ginseng to make up for it; if the liquid is insufficient, we use raw land to make up for it.
From this, we can know the pharmacology of the use of people in the soup of hot licorice.
The fang article of the "Fang Yu Zhi" says: This is Zhongjing typhoid fever, pulse knot generation, heart palpitations, and the holy Fang Ye; Sun Zhenren used to cure weakness, wang thorn began to use to benefit lung impotence, and all the parties of Zhongjing, its adaptation is so.
Therefore, although the cloud is so transmutative, and the magic of this side is in the vein knot generation, it is also known as the compound pulse soup. Regardless of the disease, all veins can be used.
