On April 16th, Rong Baozhai, a "Chinese time-honored brand" located in Beijing Liulichang, held the "Mi Qiaoming Oil Painting Exhibition", exhibiting more than 50 works by young painter Mi Qiaoming, including three series with different styles: "Ma", "Fan Yun JiXiang" and "Future". In the exhibition, western oil painting techniques integrate the aesthetic atmosphere of the East, so that Eastern and Western art collide in the three-hundred-year-old brand, attracting many literary and artistic circles and citizens to watch.

Participating artist Mi Qiaoming said: "I have studied through the academic school and painted a series of realistic horses. I wanted to learn the techniques of Western oil painting to express our traditional Chinese culture, including China's national essence and history, so I painted the Series of Sanskrit Rhymes and Jixiang, realistic Buddha statues representing the future world, and the background is Dunhuang murals and Song Dynasty paintings, which represent the past. Contemporary art is actually a continuation of the Fan Yun Ji Xiang series, replacing the Buddha statue representing the future world with an artificial intelligence robot, and I want to use the child's technique to express it, with the feeling of robots and time travel. In the "Horse" series of works, the author depicts the hyper-realistic horses with profound delicacy, showing her ingenious combination of oriental charm and Western techniques, these horses either look sideways, or bow their heads in contemplation, or stare ahead, with different shapes, depicted extremely realistically, the delicate mane on the horse surface, the raised green tendons and the strong lines on the neck, the textured texture, highlighting the painter's profound modeling ability and keen perception. In the series of works "Fan Yun Ji Xiang", the author uses ancient Chinese paintings and Dunhuang murals as the background, depicts the gilded Buddha statue as the theme in a realistic way, and then embellishes the corners of the picture with peach blossoms or kapok, these three elements represent the past, the future and the present respectively. The works retain the aesthetic oriental charm of Chinese Buddha painting, and also add the schema of the contemporary oriental aesthetic aesthetic system, and strive to realize the transformation of traditional Buddha statue painting to contemporary aesthetic forms.
