In late April, the wisteria in Jiading Wisteria Garden entered the full blooming period, and the dreamlike wisteria flowers swayed in the spring wind, dancing, and in an instant, the wisteria flowers in a bunch of clusters and waterfalls reflected the April days of Jiading with thousands of purples and thousands of reds.
This is the second time (the first time on April 18, 2017) to walk into Jiading Wisteria Garden to admire the dreamlike wisteria flowers. Affected by the new crown virus epidemic, Wisteria Garden has implemented an appointment to enter the park, with a daily limit of 3,000 people, and visitors can make an appointment through the contactless online real-name system or the telephone real-name system (over 65 years old). In this way, the tourists in the park are no longer crowded (tens of thousands of tourists in the peak period of previous years), but they are also quiet, but it is possible that the reservation cannot be made, and the flower viewing season is missed.
I made an appointment on Wednesday, April 22, 09:00 --- 10:00, and arrived at Wisteria Garden at 8:30. Despite the reservation limit, there are long queues for visitors to enter the park.
Visitors must make an appointment through the real-name system for entering the park + ID card verification + verification with the application code + body temperature measurement, and only those who meet the requirements can enter the park! At 9:00 a.m., our visitors during this period began to enter the park after strict review.
Stepping into the Wisteria Garden, you will be greeted by a stone stele inscribed by Mr. Michio Fujimoto of Japan, the donor of the Wisteria Garden, and a stone carved wall is erected behind it, surrounded by flowers, very beautiful.
Bypassing the wall, you will see a gourd-shaped lotus pond lying across the garden, and the wisteria on the opposite bank is in full bloom, like a long purple dragon lying on the edge of the pool.
Built to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the friendly exchanges between Kading District and Kazuyama Prefecture, Kagami Town, Japan, the Garden brings together more than 30 varieties and 90 plants of excellent wisteria varieties from all over Japan, all of which were donated by Mr. Michio Fujimoto, the mayor of Wakachi Town, and his friends.
The layout of the garden not only has the characteristics of a Chinese landscape garden, but also incorporates some Japanese gardening styles. Winding paths, small bridges flowing water, lotus ponds, cobblestone walkways, Japanese-style stone lanterns and wisteria flower waterfalls in the garden, the whole garden is elegant and pleasant, natural and lively, and varied.
This year's garden, the park stipulates the ornamental route, after entering the park, along the wisteria shelf corridor clockwise around the park, the park time is one hour.
The photographers who had just entered the park prepared long guns and short cannons next to a small flower pond.
The first thing to enter is a purple wisteria flower gallery. The blooming wisteria flowers are thousands of purple flowers, hanging from the vines of the cloister like strings of purple wind chimes. The breeze blows, and it is like a purple waterfall flowing down from the sky, like a dream.

Further on, you enter a dream world! purple! white! pink! Here a corridor shows the three major colors of wisteria, and the wisteria flowers in clusters and waterfalls are enough to amaze the whole world.
In the distance, the pink vine flowers look like mist floating in the sky. In an instant, the sun shone down, and the pink clouds reflected the white vine flowers in front of me with a white and green glow, which was even fresher and more pleasant.
If the white vine flower has a "small fresh" temperament, then the pink vine flower cloud waterfall in front of you is "little cute". You see, when the breeze blows, a string of pink flower spikes will be like a girl in love, shaking her slender waist and dancing, which will instantly remind people of sweet memories of youth.
I don't know whether it is nostalgia for the lost youth years, or the diligent pursuit of a happy life, but I have a unique love for this pink vine flower. In fact, wisteria has long been planted in the mainland. The Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai once left a sentence: "Wisteria hangs on the clouds, and flowers and vines are in the spring of Yiyang." There are many varieties of wisteria in the world, if divided according to its growth area, it can be roughly divided into three categories: Chinese wisteria, Japanese wisteria, and American wisteria. Chinese wisteria is referred to as the national vine, the flower spike is short (15 ~ 30cm), the flowering is earlier (late March to mid-April), the flower color is mainly purple; the American wisteria, the flower spike is short, the flowering period is late (May to September), but most of them can bloom two to three stubble flowers, which is also its unique, but its flower color is relatively monotonous. Continue your way to the vine gallery near Kiyoga-tei and admire another rare variety in the Wisteria Garden--- yae black dragon vine. The flower spikes of this vine flower are large and plump, blue-purple, and the flower color precipitates the warmth of red and the eternity of blue, highlighting the rich, elegant, dreamy and romantic unique temperament of the eight-fold black dragon vine, and it is not surprising that it has become a treasure in the wisteria.
Looking up, the eight-fold black dragon vine flower spikes descend from the trellis, like a bunch of plump and bright purple grapes, beautiful and edible, making people salivate.
The one-hour tour ended unconsciously (the park regulations can only be one hour), and when I walked out of the park gate, I inadvertently looked back for a while, and suddenly a feeling of nostalgia and attachment to others struck. Fortunately, although the time is shorter, I finally did not miss this amazing visual feast of the earthlings, and I am very lucky.
