7) Miek appears to be working with Valkyrie, the Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson, the ruler of New Asgard.
Thor appointed Valkyrie as leader of New Asgard in Endgame. In the trailer for Love and Thunder, she sits in a chair in a suit.
Miek can be seen on the far right of the lens, also wearing a suit. Miek's attire and proximity to Valkyrie suggest that the character may have been her assistant or close friend.
8. Jane Foster, the goddess of thunder played by Natalie Portman, is back — this time wielding a hammer.
Natalie Portman made her MCU debut as astrophysicist Jane Foster in Thor in 2011 and reprised the role in her 2013 sequel. Jane was last mentioned in Avengers: Endgame, when Thor revealed they had broken up.
At the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, the actress appeared on stage with a hammer and revealed that she would play the female version of Thor, surprising fans.
Natalie Portman said in a 2020 interview with Fately that Love and Thunder is based on the "mighty Thor" comic book.
In an interview with Kelly Clarkson that year, Natalie Portman also said that this time, Jane would have the power. "It's not exactly the same as Thor before that," she said. "It's her own version."
