Township Canal
Author/Liu Guoli
Recitation/King Kong
The sound of the countryside is like the smoke of the cooking on the roof has faded
The crisp laughter of the children catching loach barefoot was far away
The river that floats with memories
The direction of the water has not changed
The figure of the elm money
Dead clinging to the shadow of the tree, he did not want to leave
The little head that picked up bird eggs in the reeds was gone
An old man who keeps vigil in a melon shed in the field
Drowned in the stories of childhood by the years
Time has changed the light and shadow of the village
A series of tall buildings
Covered the footprints of childhood
Wander around the river embankment
Look for that endless dream of childhood
Propped up dull ears
It was as if the dog barked again
There are also a few cubic chicken chirps
Mixed with the name of the mother's caller
The smoke of the hometown
Still floating in the early morning canal
In the first wind
