Giselle Yashar, played by Gayle Gadot, appears to have died in Fast and Furious 6, but the fan theory of her eventual return is likely to become a reality. Because of her love of cars, Giselle Yashar quickly became one of the key characters in the Speed Legends series in 2009's former Fast and Furious series, after which she returned to Fast Five. In that movie, she also met Han Luo (Song Kang), and the two quickly fell in love.
Giselle will then reappear in Fast & Furious 6, then sacrifice himself to save Han during the film's long airport runway battle. Despite the box office success of Fast & Furious 6, Gadot subsequently regained greater star status as Wonder Woman at dceu, so any future giselle appearances in Legends of Speed will be excluded. However, there's reason to believe that this may no longer be the case, as the upcoming two-part ending is The Fast & Furious 10 and 11, which look to end the wildly popular Quick Saga in style.
Why the Fast & Furious timeline is malfunctioning
Back in 2017, u/omegansmiles released Reddit fan theory showing that Gisele and Han weren't actually dead. This theory will prove to be at least accurate in 2021, making u/omegansmiles particularly prescient as Han returns in F9. While Giselle has no plans to return to Fast & Furious 10 so far, the fan's favorite theory and the evidence presented by Han's own return proves she won't be far behind him. Owen Shaw survives (Giselle is well trained)
As noted in the previously mentioned Reddit post, Fast & Furious 6 rival Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) survived giselle's dead runway battle. When the plane tried to take off, it was suspended by two vehicles in the wings and Owen was catapulted onto the runway in an attempt to escape. His fall trajectory was even bigger than Giselle's, but in the opening scene of Rage 7, he appeared in the intensive care unit. The fate of rage even brought him back to the active players that Owen teamed up with his brother Deckshaw (Jason Statham), so that Giselle's fall in F6 wasn't necessarily fatal.
Giselle was also favored by her military background and extensive training in a variety of situations that Dom and his "family" often encountered. As a former Mossad agent, the popular Reddit theory also states that Giselle was prepared for life — a threatening task — and could make her sacrifice a safe tactic because she knew she could survive. If Gisele " tumbles" on landing, as the Reddit post says, her survival isn't impossible.
Giselle's body never recovered
When the plane finally crashes on the runway in Fast & Furious 6, the plane explodes, and Dom drives his requisitioned car through the burning wreckage to safety in the superhero comic book Esque Moments, an early in the Fast & Furious series. This action alone put Dom in more immediate danger than Gisele, who survived the explosion with only one vehicle on board as his shield against flames and heat. As noted in the Reddit post, Han's body was also not recovered from the car explosion he was supposed to have died, which is unlikely to happen given the effects of the flames on the human body.

A more subtle hint that Giselle may have survived in Fast & Furious 6 is that Giselle did not have a tombstone after his death, which seems to be a major oversight, in which the key word is "family". In contrast, after Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) "dies," she gets a tombstone that, despite her resurrection from the dead, is still clearly visible in Fast and Furious 7. So this discrepancy can be explained by the makers of the Fast and Furious series, who never really intended to let Giselle die. That way, even if Fast & Furious can't rule out a tombstone character like Letty coming back, u/omegansmiles is not wrong, and Giselle can come back on his own without a tombstone.
The fast and furious characters often return from "death"
As mentioned earlier, Letty's death was publicly shown in Fast and Furious only to prove that she was alive in the end credits scene of Fast Five. Letty's return is one of the main components of the fast-paced saga after the Fast Five, and her reappearance suggests that she and Dom were married even before his supposed death. Recently, after Shaw seemed intent on killing him, F9 brought Han back. Clearly, the Fast Saga death policy is a very open one, and although it may seem impossible, the door to return is always open.
Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to think that this will not extend to Giselle as one of Dom's staff. As stated in u/omegansmiles' Reddit post, letty, Han, and Owen's "deaths" involved fires, cars, and impacts on concrete, but weren't actually shown on the screen. If Letty, Han, and Owen can recover from such accidents, then Gisele certainly can too.
Han's F9 return makes it more likely that Gisele will be resurrected from the dead
Due to the long delay in the pandemic, audiences learned of Han's survival and returned in F9 earlier than they originally did through the movie trailer. However, despite the much publicity and leaks about his comeback, Han's relationship with Giselle has made his return even more important. When Han made his debut in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, he mentioned his past tragic love, which was eventually revealed as Giselle when the two met in the prequel Fast Five. Their final scene in that film even got Giselle to suggest Tokyo as their next destination, with Han hinting in his reply that his Tokyo Drift Future said "we'll get there." ultimately. ”
