In order to do a good job in the 3rd Asia-Pacific Geopark Week and the 53rd World Earth Day Science Popularization Activities in 2022, strengthen the publicity linkage and science popularization interaction of sister parks, promote the construction of social nature education, and display the achievements of the protection and development of global geoparks to the general public, initiated by Guangdong Danxia Mountain and Zhejiang Yandang Mountain, with the participation of a number of global geoparks, the 3rd Asia-Pacific Geopark Week and the "Friendship Sister Park Mutual Exhibition and Interaction" series of science popularization activities are underway.
The event was jointly held by 22 geological parks in China to hold popular science video displays, works exhibitions, online live lecture halls, science popularization PK activities, geopark featured product exhibitions, photo contests and series of science popularization activities, and promote them through various channels to help the geopark enhance the influence of science popularization, promote the dissemination of earth science knowledge, attract the public to care for the earth's homeland, and promote the sustainable development of geological and geomorphological nature reserves.

Xiangxi Global Geopark
The Global Geopark is a natural park selected by UNESCO worldwide for its geological and scientific significance, rare beauty and unique geological landscape, and integrates natural and cultural landscapes.
The construction of the Global Geopark aims to promote geological relics and ecological environmental protection, promote local economic development and solve the problem of mass employment, scientific research and knowledge popularization, improve the quality of the whole people, and make outstanding contributions to the construction of ecological civilization and the inheritance of local culture.
Up to now, the total number of UNESCO Global Geoparks is 177, distributed in 46 countries and regions around the world, and there are 41 Global Geoparks in China, ranking first in the world.

The 3rd Asia-Pacific Geopark Week & "Friendship Sister Park Interactive Exhibition" activity will carry out online and offline science video display, work exhibition, online live lecture hall, science popularization PK activity, Geopark special product exhibition, photo contest and series of science popularization activities, and jointly carry out new media publicity and linkage promotion through many online and offline channels, laying a solid foundation for the smooth holding of the event.
The event will also join hands with the 6th "Most Beautiful Earth Imprint" science popularization photography activity, and further expand the influence of the event with the submission and exhibition of dameishanhe works as the form of activities.
Offline, some activity units will also go into local schools to carry out campus science popularization lectures, highlight the geological relics characteristics, humanistic background and relics protection of each park, while cultivating local science popularization forces, the science knowledge and ecological civilization values will be subtly rooted in people's hearts, and contribute to the construction of ecological civilization.
This event not only showed the colorful geopark, but also conveyed the concept of nature education to the public, and was a grand exchange event about exploring nature and discovering beauty.
