On March 23, 2022, The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) announced the 2022 Best Wines in Each Category (Trophy). Among them, the award "Single Malt Scotch Whisky of the Year aged 26 years and over" was won by a Tommardine Whisky distilled in 1976.
