Azure developer Maddy Thorston has announced that the new game Earthblade, a new 2D action game released by Maddy Thorston in April 2021, has entered beta.
Throston said game testing of Earth's Blade is currently confidential and is scheduled for the end of each month. Game testing is done by friends who are not familiar with the project to ensure the widest possible feedback. As for the monthly plan, Thorston said it was to keep the team motivated and to "sprint" at the end of the month as planned, in preparation for the game's testing phase. In addition, these "sprints" do not mean that employees will work overtime.
As for the game's release date, Throston said they want to produce most or all of the game's content this year, and then release it in 2023 after B testing, polishing, localization and hosting certification. In the update announcement, Thorston also released a screenshot of the new game:
