Gianfranco Zola (born July 5, 1966) is a former Italian footballer who plays as a striker nicknamed the Short-Legged Tiger and the Little Giant. Zola played for Napoli, Parma, Cagliari and Chelsea in the Premier League. The most successful experience of his career was when he was playing for Chelsea, when he was voted the greatest player in Chelsea's history.

After retiring as a football coach, Zola now serves as assistant coach at Chelsea and has coached West Ham United F.C. in the Premier League, Watford F.C. in the Championship, Al Arabi in Qatar, and Birmingham City in the Championship.
