Good offensive and defensive? It's so easy, I'm going to be a defensive all-rounder!

MLB's new season is reignited, after the previous top ten takeovers and top ten first basemen, today we will take a look at who are the players of the top ten second basemen!

1. Ketel Marte, Arizona rattlesnake

Although Marte is only 28 years old, this year is already his 8th year in the major leagues. After coming to the Diamondbacks at a young age, his performance has been steady and rising, playing his best performance in 2019, although the shrinkage season was not ideal, but last season he hit 0.318/0.377/0.532, the play is still quite stable, and the batting rate of more than 30% shows his excellent state. The Diamondbacks still need him to pick up the girder in the new season, and Malte must continue to play well while hoping that other teammates can send him back to home base.

2. Marcus Semien, Texas Ranger

Simien was undoubtedly the most outstanding second baseman last season, and he was known for his hits + fast legs during his time as an athletic, and after coming to the Blue Jays, he hit 45 home runs throughout the season. The 173 hits, 102 RBIs were also the leading second basemen of last season. He signed the Rangers to a 7-year contract in the offseason to form a new star-second-game duo with Corey Seager.

3. Brandon Lowe, Tampa Bay Rays

Many fans will think of the Rays' former third "brother", but the most successful in major leagues is the Rays' second baseman. Lowe knocked out 132 hits in 149 games last season, including 39 home runs and 99 RBIs, but he was also hit 167 times, the most K-eating second baseman last season. With long and fierce firepower, he needs to be more stable this season, patiently choose the ball, and lead the rays to the sky in the strong American League East.

4. Jose Altuve, Houston Astros

Speaking of second basemen, how can there be less "little giant" Ottouy? Since his conquest of Major League baseball in 2011, Ottoué has played his own piece of the world step by step. His career strike rate of 0.307 is a testament to his horror prowess, and he contributed 167 home runs last season, including 31 home runs, a career-high of 117 as a trailblazer. The new season is missing his old partner, Shortsighter Carlos Correa, who needs to take on more defensive work between the second legs in addition to maintaining his usual power on the percussion end.

5 Jonathan India, Cincinnati Reds

Last season, the defensive all-rounder knocked out 143 hits in 150 games, picked up 71 deliveries, ran back for 98 points and hit 0.269/0.376/0.459 three-timers, a performance that earned him the title of National League Rookie King. With a few few few less heavy cannons in the reds' line in the new season, India needs to prove that he is the future of the team with his own strength.

6. Jake Cronenworth, a san Diego priest

Also a super tool man, Cronenworth is the main line member of the priests. At the age of 28, he only landed in the major league in 2020, and he almost got the new king of the League of Nations. He stayed in form last season, knocking out 151 hits and an attacking index of 0.800; especially after the team traded adam Frazier, he took on more defensive tasks in the field. Fraser was sent away by the team in the new season, and Cronenworth returned to second baseman position, he also needed to temporarily pick up the defensive beam at the beginning of the season, waiting for the return of star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr.

7. Jorge Polanco, Minnesota Twin Cities

Since taking charge in 2017, Polanco has played quite solidly, and last season he was able to maintain his standard throughout the season despite injuries to several of the team's main players. Contributed 158 hits, including 33 home runs, 98 RBIs to return to 97 points to maintain star level. The new season of the Twin Cities has also found a strong partner for Polanko - former Astros shortstop Correa. Polanco, who played third in the post, needed to shoulder the responsibility of pushing Byron Buxton and Correa forward or even sending them back to home.

8. Ozzie Albies, Atlanta Warriors

Although Albis is not as spectacular as Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna Jr., he still does a great job in his work. Last season, he played 156 games and contributed 163 hits, laying the foundation for the team's rebound in the second half of the season, and although he did not score home runs in the playoffs, the 0.319 base rate allowed the team to continue the offensive well. As a defending world champion of the World Series, he will restart the new season in order to continue his good batting form.

9. Jeff McNeil, New York Met

McNeill is also able to defend multiple positions, his strike rate was as high as 0.318 in the 2019 season, and last season he played 120 games for the Mets, hitting 0.249/0.317/0.358, although the long play strength is average, but still able to contribute to the stable performance of 96 hits. However, at the beginning of the new season, he is better than many of the above hitters, after 4 games, he has knocked out 7 hits, selected 2 guarantees, if he can continue this momentum, the Mets are expected to impact the playoffs.

10 Chris Taylor, Los Angeles Dodgers

It's hard time again, such as yankee's DJ LeMahieu's 2019 season hit 0.327, and in 2020 it was as high as 0.364, but he did not make the list. The 10th place to Taylor can be said to be a compliment to him, because if ranked purely by position, it would be very outrageous to not have Taylor's name in multiple positions. Fans familiar with the Dodgers know that Taylor can defend almost all 7 positions, and the 2020 season has made a great contribution to the Dodgers' championship victory, and last season knocked out 129 hits. Despite the star-studded Dodgers' playing line in the new season, Taylor is still the super weapon who can fill every position at any time.
