For many people, the happiness they seek is not really "happiness", but happier than others.
We put all our life's energy into competition:
When I was a teenager, I compared my grades with others, compared with my birth, and dressed up.

In old age, he still compares his children with others, than his children, and his retirement salary.
If we are inferior to others, we will be jealous and sullen.

Arguably, most of the happiness in our lives is based on this comparison.
When we go to a party, if we meet someone whose position is lower than ours, whose salary is less than ours, and whose emotional intelligence is lower than ours, we will subconsciously think that this person is so badly mixed that he will certainly not be happy. At least without me being happy, there will be some sense of superiority, and there will be no slightest respect for the other person.
However, if we meet a person who is better than us, we will subconsciously think that the conditions of the other party in all aspects are so good, and the little life must be quite moist, and then the attitude towards the other party also becomes humble.
When we drive a cheap car, we will be particularly inferior in our hearts, and when we meet a luxury car, we will take the initiative to give way, for fear of offending each other. We will think that those who drive luxury cars will definitely look down on us.
When we get into a luxury car, we become very arrogant, cut in line, overtake, almost become commonplace. We think that driving cheap cars will definitely let us go.
If happiness is compared, then can it be understood that the bigger the house, the happier the person? Who has more savings, the happier they are?
If this is the case, then the rich should be happy forever, but this is not the case.
I have a rich cousin who has tens of millions of dollars in savings, and as far as his son is concerned, it is reasonable to say that he should live happily, but he lives every day in loneliness, anxiety, and emptiness.

Satisfied with the Son of Heaven, and want to live forever;
Once you have obtained the elixir of immortality, you will talk to God about the high and low.
Insufficient and unsatisfied, what is the life of life?
If the hearts of the world are satisfied, unless Nan Ke dreams.
This "Song of Inadequacy" perfectly explains the truth that people's hearts are not enough to swallow elephants.
We are basically like this, when we make ten thousand dollars, we start to look at one hundred thousand. When you earn 100,000 yuan, you look at a million, so the endless cycle continues, and there is no end.
To tell the truth, even if we give us all the wealth of the world, we will not experience true happiness.
Happiness is often referred to as happiness, and true happiness is just a feeling, that exists separately from all matter, and that comes from within us.
True happiness is very simple, to live in the present moment, to enjoy every breath, to enjoy the temperature of the sun, not to reminisce about the past, and not to worry about the future.
Just live quietly in the moment, taste every breath of fragrant air, cherish everything you have in the moment, be grateful for everything that happened in the past, good and bad, when we can do this, a real sense of happiness will naturally come.
If you look for happiness from the material point of view, it is tantamount to asking for fish from a tree, and you will never experience a real sense of happiness.
